How are you supposed to click on the start menu or use the search function if the taskbar doesn’t work?
@@johnny5941 If everything in the taskbar stops responding, you can't use the search bar as that will also not be responding to anything

@@benilsondomingos5184 seems like your comment has a few clues like freezing after startup. I used my computer for a few days while my taskbar was broken before taking action to fix it. The solution in this video gives me the vibes of fixing an issue by turning on and off. There is most likely an even deeper issue that requires strong windows technical skill to solve. I predict that in the future, people including myself will need to use this video again because it is a superficial fix.

I can’t even get to my search bar. I tried to do the first step without search bar, but it didn’t work. I keep searching through the internet and can’t find anything. It says “this app could not load” “end process or cancel” but when i click cancel or end process it doesn’t work either

Dude, you saved my life. I thought I lost my original profile after creating a new one, since the problem still persists. But after a restart, the taskbar on the original profile works again. Thanks a lot!

If you set up a new account you will lose access to all folders or files. They will not have permissions on another drive or partitions!

My taskbar disappeared when I updated my asus vivobook. Even if i click the windows button it doesn't work. I can still use apps that is in my desktop but i cant shut it down. Thank you for this video! Very helpful :) The first one works perfectly ❣️
I can't work because of this.
I already tried the restart with Windows Explorer.
I did the "control" and then enter, nothing pops up.
The only thing that pops up is the task manager.
Whether I click or I use commands, the settings, control panel, anything doesn't open.
I'm so stressed right now. 😔

So, this helped me get access as the admin, but it doesn't solve the issue with my "other account". Is there an actual solution or do I have to abandon ship?

Thank you so much for this! Worked on first step with slightly different pathway. If anyone is having trouble finding the path for method one, try this:
1) Ctrl + Alt + delete
2) select task manager
3) scroll down on task manager to find windows explorer row shown above
4) right click on windows explorer and select restart

Well, creating another user solved the problem, but when I go back into the original user account I still have the same problem.....Is there any way of fixing the original account?

Go to task manager and click new task at top left corner and then write control panel and it will open

Actually I have an issue in my laptop
Whenever I click on windows bar or search bar in tasbar it opens and closes within blink of an eye.. on clicking multiple times it does the same..
I am not able to understand the issue..
Chrome tabs open up but this don't..
It happens once a day and then sorts out after some time..

nice one bro , i was about to fresh install win 11 xD , for those who have issue running control panel just control + shift + escape and in task manager>file tab>run new task>type control panel
for cmd type cmd in task run and check create this task with administrative privileges then click ok

Sir when i open any app in my laptop many windows of that app opens in taskbar and then my laptop starts lagging any solution??

Ty for being straight to the point. I agree with the comment below. Solved my problem in like 20 seconds. You should have seen the long drawn-out videos I saw before this. I think I was observing a mental brain dump that wanted me to change settings on my computer.
