Thank you! I dunno, actually. I've tuned all of my 4-string basses down to B and they all seem to handle it very well. I think the only thing that can become an issue is the string action. You might have to play around with the bridge a little bit to get decent tension and space between the strings and frets. That's all I can think of really. :)
