Wait ... what Teen Titans are you reading? 1:01:00 The Teen Titans right now are Robin, Red Arrow, Kid Flash, Crush, Djinn and Roundhouse. You basically just described Titans and said it was both Titans and Teen Titans.
As much as it pains me to admit it, Young Justice was my true gateway drug into DC comics. Young Justice (Peter David's ongoing series) made me read Impulse (still my favorite speedster), Robin (Tim is still my Robin), and Superboy (as much as I like Jon, Connor is my Superboy). Rereading reminded me of some of those problematic stories. N. Dowd was just....so bad. And it's something I have to warn people of when I hear they're going to read it. I'm hoping that Bendis hands over writing of Young Justice (Wonder Comics Imprint) to someone else. At this point there have been 2 issues and it's just not interesting. And I need Young Justice to be interesting.
The 90s were birth of Image Comics, bad girl comics, Independent comics, crossover event comics, multiple covered number 1s and the speculative market which nearly killed the comic book industry,
I wanted to pick up the new nice and shiny reprinted deluxe trades buuuuut.....the first two volumes are blue w/ a nice blue spine but the third volume is inexplicably red. throws off the whole theme. I'm a petty uppity trade-waiter, sorry
