Read an amazing article about this (I'll find and link) as a kid/teenager and it haunted me. So devastating....and that type of building must have been terrifying to walk into.
I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.
This year marks the 15th anniversary that night I was only 4 at the time but to here the stress and struggles is something that will forever live on. Those men did not die for nothing they die doing something they loved something that they have always know. R.I.P to those 6 Heros
@@rapman5791 yes thank you. I wrote that comment as a ignorant teenager. Shortly after i joined my local FD and learned all about that night and the days following.
RIP Brother Davies. Another loss for the Worcester FD. In my 30 years as a Dispatcher in Warwick RI I am grateful that I did not have to send any of these communications. Stay well in Worcester and mourn together.
Thoughts and prayers to you my brothers and their familys........ we are morning with you ... Lantz Fire and Emergency Service...... Nova Scotia, Canada....Deputy Chief Tim MacNeil
i put a like on having the audio... I'd ALWAYS put a dislike on any brother or sister firefighter dying, i'd rather see everyone go home that's what i like.... RIP Brother FF Jon Davis
There was absolutely no reason for them to be going back in. This is all on command. He had already sounded the tones for evacuation then sent them back in for a secondary search even though the building was collapsing and had been fully involved for over 30 minutes. That’s not survivable conditions. Why?? Risk vs reward. That’s reckless.
RIP brother, thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and family of FF Davies, Also thoughts and prayers to FFCarroll who was injured in the collapse as well.
That was awful I was wondering if anybody knows where I can get T-shirts from the Firehouse just for support I know it's been a while back I just respect those guys I love firefighters they would put their ass on the line to save you
abffchick17 Your comment is old, but I must reply. Yes, lifestyle and diet plays a role, but so does prolonged exposure to smoke, chemicals, and the stress of your heart going from sleeping to 100mph in the middle of the night. To downplay that prolonged stress is wrong.
@deputy3204 mayday is at 29:42

That is true some of the time but in reality of those 100 or so deaths a large majority are actually health related, the most common heart attacks.

Edited? If you have to censor things and treat us like a bunch of snowflakes, I can't be bothered with this.
