    Do. Not. Instruct. Laboring. Woman. To. Do. ANYTHING. You. Yourself. Have. Not. Done.
    You are not qualified. I almost died and the nurse had been “doing this 20 years”. No. Birth is different. You have to do it yourself. It is not something anyone can do. It is not something a man can do. Point blank period, end of discussion.

      100% agree with you. As a doctor, the types of comments said to labouring moms by healthcare staff in the hospital is heart breaking.😢😢😢. I have heard comments like" If you couldn't take the pain why did you get pregnant". " It's just one more stitch you don't need anaesthesia". Especially from female staff it is worse. It is sad.
