The poignant ballad from the unforgettable Tony Award-winning The Phantom of the Opera is both stirring and compelling in this a cappella choral setting.

Several differences from the audio to the sheet music, especially on the Alto 2 line.
Did Kirby Shaw make a different version that was recorded? This does not match up with the written music in several measures. Also, low F#s are a complete no-no in soprano choral lines.
it must be for dramatic sopranos, of course I wouldn't recommend low fs for sopranos but forbidden is a strong word for example I like to write for different types of voices in choir I hate satb I think ssaattbb is better because I'm a basso continuo and I can't sing baritone (bass and alto true ones only get screwed on satb) then the lowest note I've ever written for bass 2 was A1. Some would say that this is prohibited too
I’ve searched everywhere for sheet music of this song written for a string quartet… any thoughts on how this would translate to strings? Seems like it might work with just a few minor adjustments(?)
