@@char08fal They have Spanish DNA. Mexican Americans, Hispanos (white) have mainly spanish ancestry. And whole Louisiana turf was full of French Americans.

The rest has English, Scottish, Irish and some German unless the person is a 1st, 2nd or 3rd gen American. If they were here prior to 1965 and weren’t in those states listed many do not have Spanish or French dna. And ancestry tests have proven that. Look up American DNA results here on TH-cam.
