The whole point of this episode is to criticize the double-standard that many people have regarding this king of abuse. When a male teacher does this, then he gets the maximum sentence when caught. A female teacher might get some jail time, but otherwise nothing much happens. There was even a case where this happened: the 34 year old teacher got pregnant and a court forced the 15 year old boy to pay child support.

    • @REALAMERICANMAN531

It was actually just to emphasize that teacher banging kids is wrong u less its a hot woman.............. and a young boy. Nothing to do with double standards nobody cares if a hot teacher bangs a young boy unless its some bitter divorcee mom

The "nice" remark is to show the sexism in the society and various institutions. Also, statistically most of the pedophiles are men.
You prolly wanna checkout the 1996 case of Mary Kay Letourneau; this episode is mostly based on that.
She was 34 and the boy was 12. She also spoke on phone with him and tried to escape taking him with her , even after she got caught and when there was a no- contact order in place.
What's even more bizarre is that they got married when the boy turned an adult.

Otherwise you are in a minority. In any case, it's not "weird" as you put it if it's fine by the majority of people, or at least the majority of men.

I recommend classic episodes for people who are just starting to watch this series for the first time.
It is a mistake to recommend episodes from the last few seasons to people who are not familiar with the show or the characters. (I recommend based on the episodes they know)
The best thing to enjoy this show understanding the whole context is to watch the series from the beginning corpnologically (but it is very long and tedious)
I understand that many channels start watching this show for the first time with random recommended episodes.
in that case it is better to start with base seasons like 5 - 10 and then next seasons to build a similar context for those of us who enjoy the full show chronologically.

Hey, I really like your reaction videos!
I'm a qualified psychologist and trainee psychotherapist, so I thought I'd give my two cents on your criticism. First of all, it's understandable why you don't see the utility of therapy, because you have the idea kind of backwards... though mostly correct. So, when you're young, even as young as a few months, you are experiencing everything for the first time, your first impressions of everything, based on nothing other than biology and emotion and with little, if any, capacity to form rational, logical thoughts colour your perceptions of the world and your place in it.
what is the world? is it a place of unbridled curiosities, fascinations and thrilling adventures? or a terrifying rollercoaster on an ever changing, unpredictable track? - if one does not have his needs sufficiently met in infancy, he is likely to reach a conclusion similar to the latter. He acts congruently with how he experiences the world around him, thus creating a self fulfilling prophecy and reinforcing his belief. It is often, though not limited to, people with this worldview who would engage in the 'bad behaviors' you referenced.
Furthermore, the role of a therapist, or therapy generally, is not to justify bad behaviors, nor does it attempt to do so, though I can appreciate why it can sometimes seem that way from the outside looking in. So lets say somebody has a tendency to fly off the handle in fits of rage and this is the 'bad behavior' they have been referred or sought therapy for. We would first establish why this behavior is undesirable, does the patient himself deem it to be undesirable?, or has he been told consistently that it is by others? - then yes, in psychoanalysis anyway, we would try to pin down the story of his life from as early as we possibly could.
We do this because irrational, emotionally charged behaviors such as fits of rage are usually 'rackets', that means they're inauthentic feelings which we have learned to use to cover up feelings we deem unacceptable. As humans we crave acceptable, especially from our primary caregivers, usually parents, in our formative years, so much so that baby monkeys have been shown to bond with sanitary towels if there's nothing else soft to cling to around them and birds have been shown to bond with a farmer's wellington boots because they were a familiar sight shortly after birth, humans are from the same stock.
We will do ANYTHING to be 'OK' with our parents in our formative years, because we know instinctively that we will literally die a slow and painful death if they neglect us, so we try EVERYTHING and see what sticks. Once we've found a working formula we repeat it until it becomes, literally, second nature to us. We then carry these behaviors with us throughout all of our lives. In this example, perhaps it was unacceptable to be upset, sad, or to cry, but anger got a real response, negative attention is infinitely better than no attention when your life depends on it.
By breaking down the patients life in the form of a story and raising awareness around where certain behaviors originate, once these behaviors are transported from the subconscious to the conscious mind, you might say from the amygdala (emotional centre) to the prefrontal cortex (logical brain) - they can be properly understood and manipulated, you could say, they can be sanded down to fit comfortably into your life instead of giving you splinters every time you brush against them.
So the two parts you were incorrect on were that if you got lots of attention from your parents when you're young, you're going to crave it throughout life, is actually the opposite way round, which I believe your... girlfriend? I guess? ... attempted to point out and the second part was that therapists justify bad behaviors, we first determine which behaviors the patient believes are bad and why, then we don't justify them, we try to diminish them.
Not having a go, just making the case for a subject I adore. Keep up the videos!

I have a theory on why such double standard exist:
It has something to do with the general mating dynamic between male and female in society. Statistically speaking women have a higher chance of getting approached by men for sex hence a higher likelihood of women having more sexual partners than men. This is why men gets praised more for having more/quality sexual partners because again statistically speaking men has to put up more effort if he wants to get laid compared to women. One example is that it isn't enough for a man to be rich and good looking just to het laid, he has to pay her (if its a prostitute) buy her drinks, say the right words and at the same time trying to let your intentions be made known without coming off as creepy or a perv.
Now, does this mean women are luckier than men? The answer is NO, not always because a number of sexual encounters women go through may not be even consensual. So what does this have to do with the South Park Episode or in cases of female to male child abuse? So due to the current mating dynamics where men do not get the same number of sexual opportunities as women, and by opportunities I mean offers of sex, regardless if they accepted or not, men look for what is lacking in themselves which in this case, sexual opportunities from a number of good looking women to a point that they project those fantasy on male child abuse victim because in their perspective if females don't even approach them that much in the first place, then what are chances them being sexually harassed by a woman?

I wish teachers like her were around when I was a kid. People say that anyone like Ike is a victim, but any straight guy would 1000% disagree. 99.999999% of us wanted this when we were younger. Girls especially don't understand because they hate us, but we actually like attention from the opposite sex. We aren't victims if we want what happened to us.

As a straight guy, I 1000000% disagree with you. You're the person South Park is poking fun at in this episode, and the sad part is, it took me to point it out to you.

Lmao therapists don't try to justify what criminals do. They just try to understand the reason why. There has never been a time where a criminal got off from doing a crime because a therapist came in an explained the reason. If anything thats just more motive used against the criminal.
