I know these guys are from reputable breeders, so I trust them. But you are correct. I do treat them, but even despite these measures, it's my python that transfers the disease so, in a way, inevitable.
@@amazonianangelfish I see. My experience with having angelfish shipped was pretty disappointing overall... just wondering to what extent knowing this was going to be public may have influenced what you received and how it was packaged.
@Herbie Cactus there will always be a chance of DOA, however we as breeder and seller, do not wish to kill any fish we ship as we will also be on the losing end from loss of stock. Overnight shipping and direct pickup from the shipping company guarantees the best survival.
The fish look great. But.No Quarantine?? You are talking a huge risk. I know you are buying from a top supplier. I have not Quarantined in the past and lost all the pairs in a 12 tank breeder system. Before I know what happened. I will never do that again. It could be fine but if it's not it will be to late. Hope all goes well.
I simply don't have empty tanks to quarantine. In a way, they are quarantined in the individual tank and not distributed throughout each tank. I also keep an eye out for any outbreaks and treat each tank accordingly.

No quarantine? Curious as to why? As you said previous shipments have devastated your fishroom. Why not isolate for 30 days and observe.
