Nice. Another good way to collect many kinds of pelt is in big valley, near the trapper. The path that goes from the Ownjiila lake to Little creek. There you can find 3 snakes, a pack of wolves, a group of boars, a cougar, 2 black bears and 1 grizzly. There's the legendary buck too there. You just ride up and down, kill, sell to the near by trapper, sleep, save and reapeat. In a couple of hours doing this you can craft a bunch of trapper items and grind money too
Killed a three star grizzly and got a three star cougar at the same, second time thats happened to me, large predators spawning simultaneously i think is rare!
@@regina77phalange The only problem with that is you really have to wait until they respawn, since camping or sleeping on the island will immediately teleport you to main land. The same goes for saving/reloading.

Talking about water snakes and green iguanas, I usually drop them far away from the beach near the shipwreck. The same goes for panthers and cougars, I always drop their carcasses on my horse and also sell them to the trapper. Maybe it's just me but I suspect this makes the game respawn them quickly.
You could copy her in the mission we save jimmy milton and take him back to Marry in valentine station. Search and watch some videos about this.and also the second one is always a male. I think a youtuber named scorpion made some useful videos for this method. Good luck

Good method. I always try in the islands we find Iguana. There are lots of snakes near the broken small ship. 3 or 4 in every reload 😉

that's a great spot, i usually go there for snake and iguana pelts.

If it is in your satchel, it will be there forever unless you use it like crafting or selling

I just ride around and when I see a predator/enemy on the map i turn around and kill it, I’ve never really gone looking for specifically snake pelts
