You have that conversation with them and you’re asking yourself do I love them enough to compromise and sacrifice your own happiness for them because you love them. I feel connected to this song because I’m moving away for university in September and I have people I love which I’m leaving behind if I go. My battle between leaving them for my own happiness so I can free and not feel the chains my family have put me (because I’m closeted) and the vibe of London is killing my soul.
