Brutal hands mate! keep your chin up and thanks for the content. These constant 2 outers and losing flips takes it toll on your mental game. It seems to always be the pots that matter to make a solid run.

AQs is a brakeven call there, not close to "gigapunt". He needs 27% eq, and has 28% if you jam QQ+ AK. If you add one combo of A5s or if pool sometimes jam JJ it becomes a punt to fold.

Poker can be, and if you grind enough, will be brutal. My SNG coach in 2007 went on a 1200 BI downswing and was down 60K when he should have been up half a million (or more, cause had he won, he would have gone to the 110s+ instead of the 55s). Losing 60K playing 55s speed 9max is brutal if you know you crush them hard.

I feel ya I never thought a downswing could be so bad .
And it’s the most insane spots and weird stuff that goes down .
Like busting out 5 good stacks within 3 minutes getting it in with 80 % and turning up that 2 out river every damn time.
Never holding that AA chiplead double up with 15 left not even 1/20 .
I hope it turns around for ya I didn’t see a FT for maybe 12 months ,normally I get a FT in about 50% of my sessions .

Guys,I have been in the position of "downswing" ,and most heavily, at beginning i thiught I was unlucky, but mostly,I was oveplaying hands. Some tips to remove crazy swings:
1.avoid all in pre flop for cashgames .especially ak
2.Dont marry your set or strong hand, you have to know when to fold, especially microstakes people are not bluffing all in etc.Learn to fold.
3.Make a profile of styles of every player you play, nits, tags, lags etc.
You know how to play against them.Dont bluff whales, bluff the nits where you should.

I've been playing for profit, but in a casual way for years now. Been thinking about getting RYE for a looong time. Finally got the bankroll to a point where I can play some small stakes tournaments as well, now I just need to find a way that gives me enough time to put in the work to make myself a crusher, while juggling with study and all that other life stuff.

In the deuces-hand (bottom left from around 17:30) I really don't think he's thinking about folding, but rather shoving.
It would essentially just be a min-raise from him, he's covering for the bounty, and he's probably wondering whether you would value-bet AJ and AT on the river.
As he ended up just calling, I assume that means he doesn't think you would have value-bet those hands.
