Awesome! I started mountain biking on THIS VERY TRAIL back in the early 90's, on a Pro Flex bike when 'full suspension' was a relatively new concept! I lived off Ski Run and Needle Peak so I could roll out the door and be on this trail in a matter of minutes. The bikes have changed sooo much, but the trail is just the way I remember it. Now I share this video with those who are curious about Tahoe MTB, this one and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride by BKXC. Wow, God bless you guys for sharing this treasure - one of these days I'll return
Hell ya favorite video that's my backyard trail!! Finally yall be hucking off that top boulder, video does not do that justice whatsoever, first people I've seen hit that line! Can't wait till more snow melts and both of you got to make a Martis video!
As a Tahoe local I must say you made this trail look far smoother than I ever will. I would love to see a couple fast riders as yourselves film a lap on Corral and Sidewinder.
Although I haven't ridden in NorCal yet, I love to see you guys riding in places I've been to when visiting family there (I live in Texas) such as the Lake Tahoe area, Auburn, etc. Can't wait to hit some trails there on a future visit, maybe I'll spot you guys on the trail.... Until you fly by me like I'm standing still. Haha. This type of riding and the familiar locations are why you guys are my favorite channel for mtb.
Dudes, that was SICK! I thought I had subscribed to you, but somehow it didn't go through? Regardless, I'm subbed now, and I've got notifications turned on. I'm hooked on BKXC, The Singletrack Sampler, Seth's Bike Hacks, Skills with Phil, Nate Hills, and now; Trail Peek! :D
this was one of the first trails i ever rode down and is still my favorite, only a 10 min ride from the back door makes it even better. tho i would deff like to hit it with a full suspension bike i currently ride a hardtail.

Thanks! Such a good trail! Now I just want Toads and Freel to melt off!
Star lake clear?

Great trail! Extremely nice scenery
This is on the less scenic side of the spectrum for Tahoe

Nice channel! I’m new to the mtb world so this will definitely help me pick destinations.
The sections where you hear the water roar in the background are dope

How about tyrolean DH?
Definitely when it thaws out!
now I need to take a trip
Sick ride ... looks like the Jeffsey is getting dialed in. You guys switch bikes at all?

You're fortunate to have this out your back door. One of my favorites in Tahoe
lucky boys:)
That looks fun as hell. What's the elevation there? I'd probably be gassed, hanging out around sea level all the time.
Tahoe level is around 6200 ft and they are above that.
What are the top trails i need to ride in Tahoe?
It hurts watching how good you guys are! How are you liking the Jeffsey so far? Praises, complaints?
No complaints yet, Dane seems to dig it.
How a mere mortal rides Cold Creek, ha: th-cam.com/video/C3cAARu_lIE/w-d-xo.html
You make It sound easy!! your handlebar is carbon??
You bet!
👍📹
The jeffsy looks awesome!
How do you like them so far?
Yaron Amir I quietly thought to myself is the other one Jeffsy as well. Now at least I know im npt the only one.
Which fork you're using with jeffsy , which travel? What about rear shock?
Stock Pike 140mm RC3. with a Fox x2 Coil out back. New Fox 36 160mm will be here Friday!
Trail Peek don't afraid for geometry change ? Seat angle for climbing ? Reach shortening?
You guys are just straight up silly
Just a couple of dinguses
Hey were you guys able to shuttle this or did you pedal up the jeep road?
Only accessible by pedaling
You guys should get with Alex chamberlain for a little collab shot... you guys shred.
two miserable people gave this a thumbs down
Haha there's always gonna be those people
Nice. That chunky stuff looked like it had the potential to send you home in a helicopter, should you get the lines wrong. Sweet trail.
Lots of big boulders to get hung up on!
Ah yes Gen Xers/Millenials using the term "sick" to denote something good.
