Last year for my 40th we were up in Tahoe. The guys at Over the Edge told us we should ride Armstrong Connector and Corral. We had a blast and were so surprised to find the bike park at the bottom of Lower Corral. Had a blast. Wasn't as fast and stylish as you guys but fun non the le less. I posted a video of it on my TH-cam if you ever have 20 minutes to kill.
I have no problem hitting jumps of those size, but I can't add much in terms of style. Any tips? Does the movement start in the takeoff? Are you manhandling the bike mid-air or using momentum?
SG - MTB if you want to whip, you have to slightly curve your take off angle so that in mid air your bike is sideways, then bring it back before you land.
SG - MTB the most dramatic movement definitely happens just before and right as you are taking off. The actual stylish part of the whip which happens while you're in the air is really just you regaining control and then pulling your bike back from the tweaked out position you take off in. Send it brother🤘🏻
Sean pretty much covered it there! Just practice and you'll figure it out. Once the bike is in the air you can't do much, so the takeoff is key. Good luck!
Fast AF as usual, gentlemen. So dusty there! I know Flume has only just become totally clear of snow in the last week or so. Is Corral trail at lower elevation?
Do you feel that your sacrifice anything when riding your 29er, also would be cool to see a break down of your gear and things you take while on a ride
I know it's an old vid, but I'm getting ready to move back home in a few weeks and can't wait to ride this again! One of my favorite trails in SLT.
I cant wait to get back into mtb. I'm old but I still have a few years in me to ride.

Stopped so quick on that bridge, not sure if trying to get your friend to "take a swim" lol

Great piece of trail, where do you guy's find these trails?that's great
Corral is probably one of the most popular trails in Tahoe. We just hear about a lot of trails online and through people

Yeah a little lower and a bit more exposed
Do you feel that your sacrifice anything when riding your 29er, also would be cool to see a break down of your gear and things you take while on a ride
Don't really feel like we're sacrificing much on the 29er. Might do a vid on that soon!
Yessss sirrr!! 🤩
Awesome video. What size is the jeffsy? Looking into buying one just not sure on size. Im slightly under 5'10".
Medium and I'm 5'9"
Bike check on both bikes!
Sick video guys! Just posted a video on this trail its my favorite in South Lake!
What kind of bike is the white and black bike?
Dusty trails, yo! Looks so fun though!
That's Tahoe for ya haha
It’s April 8th 2021 as I write this , anyone know if this rideable now at current snow levels ?
Hey I just got back from a ride on corral. No snow it’s running great!
What shorts are those at 0:25?
Specialized Enduro Shorts
Hey man what type of handlebar do you roll with your Hightower ? Carbon ?
Renthal Father Carbon Lite
How do you like those Onzas on the Jeffsy? Mine are hopeless in the wet.
So far not my favorite. The sidewall feels a little flimsy and I can't seem to figure out the cornering traction.
How much travel has the 36 on the Hightower?
160
that hub sound is loud. is that industry 9?
Hope Pro 4
EVAAAN FLOOOOHOOO
How's that Jeffsy working out?
FAST!
...yeah, is it good at soaking up the bumps? I have a Capra, however am eying the Jeffsy for it climbing prowess.
There should be a mtb vs motorcycle race? 😄
you guys make BKXC look boring
awesome channel!!
We all have our own special sauce! Haha Brian's personality is super entertaining
Oh yeah, I'm 55. Been here since the 80s. I'm not big air but I'd love to chase you Rabbits!..#WileysWheelWorks
Could have hit Bijou for bonus footage...=)
Next time! We did make a stop but didn't film.
N* has some gnarly terrain, just an idea...
Yep once the snow melts! We've got plenty of footage from Northstar over the years
Watch out for motorcycles 😃
To think this is all burnt rn 😢
If only we all had free and equal access to terrain of all our skill level. ;-)
Just gonna move to New Zealand!
Damn all that snow this year and the trails are all ready dusty :(
It wouldn't be Tahoe if it wasn't dusty as hell
Were you really tired that day? You look baked.
Tired of riding a flow trail!
You like the yt?
Digging it!
If only those jumps were 3x the size, then that would be even more raaaaad!!!
That's what I dream of!
then go to whistler and ride ALINE
More like Crabapple! 🤘
