    You can also take the pins out of the Beta pegs and install replaceable cleats, if you are on a budget

      Where do you get those?

    • @rrabbat30

      I saw someone else do it on line. Motosport outlet sells replacement cleats, you'd have to drill and tap em for the cleats. I thinking of doing it for my older beta @@highlandcycles

    i had the S3 steel pegs that are the similar design and they totally chewed through my sg12 soles. ended up putting the stock pegs back because of that.

      I have had these on my KTM for a while and my SG22's are holding up well.

      I was going to ask about the S3 punk pegs. They tore up your boots huh? Sorry, but glad I heard it before I bought them.

    • @masterbeta343

      @@Josh-Silvia theyre good pegs but i think its just how i stand on the bike. It mostly only happened to the left side. I guess i stand very consistently on my bike so it was always wearing in the same place. The teeth basically ate grooves into my boots.

    • @Josh-Silvia

      They look sharp for sure but they also looked like they’d clear mud really easy, which comes in handy around here. I’m still on the fence.

    As a beta 300 owner and fellow rabbit hole dweller … why the lower pegs for hard enduro ? Those frame peg tabs snap pretty easy especially with SS pegs

    • @highlandcycles

      It is good for getting weight back and low for traction

  • @seamarsh3756

    offset pegs vs tall seat? i know jimmy lewis likes tall seat vs changing peg height, haven't tried either.

    • @highlandcycles

      Really depends on what you’re trying to accomplish. If you’re just trying to make the distance from sitting to standing shorter then tall seat. If you are trying to change weight bias on the bike (what I’m doing) then pegs.

    I never use those stupid pull straps. it's ridiculous you have to take off your forks to do it. I usually use the acerbis one which have a double D in the end and you can put them on without taking anything off, I usually put some zipties around the bottom triple clamp so that they don't go down

    • @highlandcycles
