I’ve been saying for a while that vivi is the answer to how you introduce a cool and relatable character to a story at the end without it feeling like it’s shoehorned in.
I always found it funny how we continuously discuss whether XYZ will/should join the strawhats or if Vivi will rejoin because the criteria for strawhat has been in We Are the whole time: "There's always room for you, if you wanna be my friend!"
You would think so. In terms of a fighting duo and party buddies. You are correct. But leadership style? I think that would be the source of contention. Katakuri basically grew up militarizing his siblings. The family has a military command structure, and towns as outposts where Big Mom’s children are mayors or baronesses . Luffy doesn’t have interests in organizing the SH alliance in that manner. In Wano, they basically entrusted that logistical task to Law and the Samurai. Then something has to happen to tear Katakuri away from his protector role as a big brother. He takes that role seriously even towards the younger generations of the crew. Who are definitely more sociopathic than the older siblings.

Oda definitely planned out the majority of the crew early on, but theres no reason to expect that he had the entire story perfectly planned out from the beginning and that he would forgo a new crew member if it came up and made sense for the story. Theres also some translations that have Luffy saying he wants "at least" 10 members. Of course at this point in the story, we're probably not going to have any new official crew members just due to how close we are to the end. Oda could add a dozen new crewmates, but all that would accomplish would be to dilute the action for the final saga and slow things down a bit as we spend time focusing on even more individual fights. Frankly, if there was a lot more time in the story left after Wano, I would have been amazed if Oda hadnt added at least ONE crewmember from that arc. There were so many incredible personalities added in the Wano saga, honestly several that seem to have even better chemistry with the crew than Jinbei. Most of the rando people that Luffy asks offhandedly to join his crew, you can tell instantly that its just part of the gag. But there were plenty of characters in Wano that felt like perfect fits for the crew, both personality-wise and narrative-wise.
Snow snow fruit for vivi would be awesome too. Whenever alabasta is in a drought szn or the weather is especially tough I could see her going around to various villages and supplying snow, ice, water, etc for the villages in trouble.

I’m still this emotional whenever someone brought up the Vivi farewell moment. Thats how impactful that moment to me. I’m always been that one friend thats always far away. But my friend and I still treat ourselves like family. I’m still their “nakama” wherever I am. Thats why I believe Vivi also is.
On Vivi getting the Snow Snow Fruit... we're likely going to see the Strawhats vs the Blackbeard Pirates in the near future, one of whom might be a member of SWORD and betray them, who coincidentally has a very similar devil fruit; if there is anyone in the story who could give Vivi a crash course in how to use her ability effectively it's gotta be Kuzan, right? And also she better get a tag team match alongside Chopper so she can use pink snow "cherry blossom" attacks.
Honestly Vivi getting the Snow-Snow Fruit is great because she hails from a desert nation so it add kinda this duel nature to her and also that's gonna be a crazy beneficial power to have in her nation. Like there's a crazy bad heat wave, no problem citizens I will call upon a snow fall to cool us all. Or there's again a crazy drought the snow can melt into water for the crops and citizens. Plus I imagine in the future when she comes across Sobo there's gonna be a brief confrontation between them, maybe not a full fledged fight but he has answers to her questions and he is technically taking credit for her fathers death, she likely doesn't believe that 100% but she probably finds him sketchy for it and just having her have snow to offset/counter his fire just sounds great.

The Magna Defender/Black knight is a 6th ranger, because he was listed as one for Gokaiger, the big anniversary season of the franchise in 2011. This was important, because the big summer movie in that year had the title "199 heroes", and the Magna Defender/Black Bull was counted as one to get to that specific number. also, small thing to point out: The comics in fact used the magna defender briefly in a shortlived story taking place in another part of the universe, and his japanese counterpart did in fact appear again in Gokaiger in a big mentor role for that seasons 6th ranger, GokaiSilver/Gai.

8:20 this scene could also serve as foreshadowing for Queen Lili joining the D clan. The people in the crew/ancient kingdom all took the moniker of D to represent their bond, just like the X on the arm. Vivi hides her allegiance with the straw hats to take up her role as leader same as Lili hiding her allegiance to the D clan
Vivi IS and always has been a Straw Hat!! She's just VIP so she has her own side arc as Queen ... but she will return to fight along side the crew and the rest of the Straw Hat fleet with amazing power!!! There's TOO much going on with her and her heritage for it to be just lineage.

God, I can just imagine Vivi coming back to Alabasta with her snow powers and giving all the kids there a snow day since it's a desert and they would never have experienced that. Plus, it helps with water since she can make unlimited snow

I think we all agree it's Vivi; actually, there's precedent; it's the same thing that happened with Jinbei; they met, Luffy asked him to join, he had other stuff to do at the moment and then came back, same thing with Vivi; you can even go further as they both came half a world from one another, each of then was right after crossing the red line, as if each represented that specific stage and therefore they inevitably became part of the crew do to the strong bond forged at a pivotal moment in the crew's growth (and they're both the same blue)
Vivi is vital to the Strawhats because she is the only one in the crew that is able to give them the same leverage Shanks has as a world noble descendant. It should come into play in the future.
A) Toki was a Wano Fruit User. B) I subscribe to the theory that each fruit is a different type of fruit. For example, if Kaku bites it near an orange, I don't expect that orange to turn into a bunch of red plantains.
Imagine Vivi with the Snow Snow fruit and when she goes back to Alabasta at the end of the story and she can make snow start to fall slowly for the people that never saw snow in their lives, it would be amazing.
Only problem is what if his fighting, someone with high spec observation haki blinding them with snow wouldn't help much at all it would be good for the random grunts.
There once was a theory with devilfruits and numbers like gomu corresponds to 5,6 by that the straw hats include every number except 2 and 9 and the fruit corresponding is nikyu nikyu no mi. Considering kuma's character arc is about to end, probably at egghead vivi could have that fruit. Now, there are theories stating Lili could have had the nikyu nikyu no mi which she used to scatter the ponegliphs so it could be a parallel.

Seeing Vivi eat the Yuki Yuki no Mi could be fun! We have devil fruit users on the crew with Brook and Robin having a paramecia, chopper with a Zoan, and Luffy with a Mythological Zoan, but no logia type. Also every devil fruit that has joined the crew already had their devil fruits and knew how to use them. This would make it fun for us to have Vivi who eats the devil fruit that’s been hiding on the Thousand Sunny (devil fruits have wills and could possibly hide their presence until they find someone that they want to eat them which is when it pushes its will out which could be Vivi being the chosen one) and have to try and learn how to use it. We saw Luffy struggle with his fruit when he was younger and seeing Vivi struggle to get a grip on this fruit as well as the different ways she could use this fruit compared to Monet. Also maybe Karoo joins and gets an ancient Zoan so we can have every devil fruit type on the crew other than special paramecia. Which then makes it 6 users and 6 non-users.
Vivi & Caroo, Yamato, Momonosuke & Kinemon, Carrot, Bon Clay/Bentham, and Tama are all definitely honorary Strawhats. All of these people have deep connections with the Strawhats too the point that I don’t think anyone on the crew would refuse them. I would argue that no one else in the story really has a chance.

I think that Vivi WAS a Straw hat, and she could join up AGAIN, but she really wasn't one since Alabasta till now. Mostly because all the Straw Hats have their goals. Since the barrel scene, every member has a goal/reason to come along, and Vivi had one THEN, and only has another one NOW. In Alabasta she was saving her country, and she DID that; now with was happened at Reverie (idk if i spelled that right i always mess it up) she has a new one presumably, either to save the world or just to avenge her father. At most she could be considered an Ex-Straw Hat, though that might be me.
If Vivi eats a DF then it’s going to happen in complete Luffy fashion: unintentionally lol I think it’d be great if this happened by just eating a DF that spawned on the Sunny like “hm Nami this tangerine tastes funky” . 6:24 actually the only person from Wano with that specific promise was Tama, the others were never actually promised a spot on Luffy's crew specifically only that he would take them out of Wano if they wanted to be pirates not that they were promised a position in the crew Putting them in the Grand Fleet would still fulfill his promise to those 3
I think it's super obvious Oda wants Vivi back with the Straw Hats given how much Oda's pushing her back into the story. Here's a thought I had too she'll likely be getting a bounty put on her by the government now and it'll likely be hefty too. So she can't just hide away somewhere or return to Alabasta. As for powers I can see her definetly at least eating a devil fruit and then having her slashers upgraded by Usopp and Franky. As for Haki well we can't say she does'nt have it considering how much she's been off screen, I can see Pell learning Armament and then teaching it to her for extra protection for instance. So I would'nt count this one out until the Straw Hats see her again and we see her fight again.
i dont think vivi would have proplem with robin. when igaram,cobra and chaka guestions and asks vivis opinion. she says that itl be fine that robin is on luffys crew, "even if you sail with luffy, you wont understand his way of thinking"

Hawkings for sure and a pretty high chance Drake also died (maybe put in the Big Mom/Kaido line). We also do not know if Green Bull killed the captured Beast Pirates in the Prison when he arrived in Wano, so a slim chance King/Queen/Jack and the other Tobi Roppo were killed. I do remember them being drained... never was confirmed if they were all right after that. Would Toki count, even though she died 20 years in the past? Or is her dying in the arc count? Same goes with Orochi's family members... that would be at least one more as Kaido killed the Clone-Clone fruit user and we have no idea how the Barrier-Barrier user died (forget their names). They died in the Wano arc and technically at Wano.... Also do not know about Black Maria or some of the other Tobi Roppo if they even made it to the Prison. Wano is like pushing 10+ deaths/possible deaths for Devil Fruit users.
I think Imu's connection to Lili and Vivi being a member of the D. Clan makes it even more likely she will become a full-time member of the Straw Hats. But have we seen a pirate crew with more than one member of the D. Clan? If we haven’t, that either makes it more likely that Vivi joins the Straw Hats permanently because that would make them the only crew with two D. Clan members or it will do the opposite. I’m 50/50 but I hope it’s the former.
Blackbeard and ace were on the same crew, also since the d is inherited i think its likely that there are some crews made up of multiple members of the same family and so will share the name D.

I always imagined Vivi deserved Conquerer's Haki. Not to Luffy's extent of course but she is a monarch. Not only a monarch but a great one. Not only THAT, but her lineage is significant. My theory on vivi, after learning how important the family line was. What if something happens and she awakens conquerors' haki? If thats the case I wouldn't imagine her having a devil fruit power. But instead having Karoo be the user of a devil fruit. Think it would make a pretty cool scenario
Vivi is gonna reunite with the strawhats , but she is not joining permanently, after imu is dealt with vivi is gonna return to alabasta , the kingdom needs her more than ever. Vivi is definitely gonna be queen of alabasta by the end of the series .
Vivi is rejoining, if we add ViVi to the crew her bounty will skyrocket making her the tenth great officer of the straw hat crew. My theory for the final battle is we got 5 Gorosei Luffy and his 10 great officers and B.B. with his 10 titanic captains. Imu will probs end up fighting B.B. and Luffy Coby somehow joins the fight, Zoro and Shiryuu vs Samurai Gandhi, so on and so forth. I cannot wait for the final arc's battles.

I think we all agree it's Vivi; actually, there's precedent; it's the same thing that happened with Jinbei; they met, Luffy asked him to join, he had other stuff to do at the moment and then came back, same thing with Vivi; you can even go further as they both came half a world from one another, each of then was right after crossing the red line, as if each represented that specific stage and therefore they inevitably became part of the crew do to the strong bond forged at a pivotal moment in the crew's growth (and they're both the same blue)
Vivi is vital to the Strawhats because she is the only one in the crew that is able to give them the same leverage Shanks has as a world noble descendant. It should come into play in the future.

B) I subscribe to the theory that each fruit is a different type of fruit. For example, if Kaku bites it near an orange, I don't expect that orange to turn into a bunch of red plantains.

Imagine Vivi with the Snow Snow fruit and when she goes back to Alabasta at the end of the story and she can make snow start to fall slowly for the people that never saw snow in their lives, it would be amazing.
The Snow Snow Fruit would probably be best with Usopp. He could probably create massive blizzards taht obscure his enemy's vision when he's sniping.
Only problem is what if his fighting, someone with high spec observation haki blinding them with snow wouldn't help much at all it would be good for the random grunts.
There once was a theory with devilfruits and numbers like gomu corresponds to 5,6 by that the straw hats include every number except 2 and 9 and the fruit corresponding is nikyu nikyu no mi. Considering kuma's character arc is about to end, probably at egghead vivi could have that fruit. Now, there are theories stating Lili could have had the nikyu nikyu no mi which she used to scatter the ponegliphs so it could be a parallel.
I was surprised this theory wasn't brought up. As much as I like the snow snow fruit re-entering the story, Vivi getting Kuma's devil fruit makes way more sense to me

Seeing Vivi eat the Yuki Yuki no Mi could be fun! We have devil fruit users on the crew with Brook and Robin having a paramecia, chopper with a Zoan, and Luffy with a Mythological Zoan, but no logia type. Also every devil fruit that has joined the crew already had their devil fruits and knew how to use them. This would make it fun for us to have Vivi who eats the devil fruit that’s been hiding on the Thousand Sunny (devil fruits have wills and could possibly hide their presence until they find someone that they want to eat them which is when it pushes its will out which could be Vivi being the chosen one) and have to try and learn how to use it. We saw Luffy struggle with his fruit when he was younger and seeing Vivi struggle to get a grip on this fruit as well as the different ways she could use this fruit compared to Monet.
Also maybe Karoo joins and gets an ancient Zoan so we can have every devil fruit type on the crew other than special paramecia. Which then makes it 6 users and 6 non-users.
Vivi & Caroo, Yamato, Momonosuke & Kinemon, Carrot, Bon Clay/Bentham, and Tama are all definitely honorary Strawhats.
All of these people have deep connections with the Strawhats too the point that I don’t think anyone on the crew would refuse them.
I would argue that no one else in the story really has a chance.

I think that Vivi WAS a Straw hat, and she could join up AGAIN, but she really wasn't one since Alabasta till now. Mostly because all the Straw Hats have their goals. Since the barrel scene, every member has a goal/reason to come along, and Vivi had one THEN, and only has another one NOW. In Alabasta she was saving her country, and she DID that; now with was happened at Reverie (idk if i spelled that right i always mess it up) she has a new one presumably, either to save the world or just to avenge her father. At most she could be considered an Ex-Straw Hat, though that might be me.

I think it's super obvious Oda wants Vivi back with the Straw Hats given how much Oda's pushing her back into the story. Here's a thought I had too she'll likely be getting a bounty put on her by the government now and it'll likely be hefty too. So she can't just hide away somewhere or return to Alabasta. As for powers I can see her definetly at least eating a devil fruit and then having her slashers upgraded by Usopp and Franky. As for Haki well we can't say she does'nt have it considering how much she's been off screen, I can see Pell learning Armament and then teaching it to her for extra protection for instance. So I would'nt count this one out until the Straw Hats see her again and we see her fight again.

Hawkings for sure and a pretty high chance Drake also died (maybe put in the Big Mom/Kaido line). We also do not know if Green Bull killed the captured Beast Pirates in the Prison when he arrived in Wano, so a slim chance King/Queen/Jack and the other Tobi Roppo were killed. I do remember them being drained... never was confirmed if they were all right after that.
Would Toki count, even though she died 20 years in the past? Or is her dying in the arc count? Same goes with Orochi's family members... that would be at least one more as Kaido killed the Clone-Clone fruit user and we have no idea how the Barrier-Barrier user died (forget their names). They died in the Wano arc and technically at Wano.... Also do not know about Black Maria or some of the other Tobi Roppo if they even made it to the Prison. Wano is like pushing 10+ deaths/possible deaths for Devil Fruit users.

I think Imu's connection to Lili and Vivi being a member of the D. Clan makes it even more likely she will become a full-time member of the Straw Hats. But have we seen a pirate crew with more than one member of the D. Clan? If we haven’t, that either makes it more likely that Vivi joins the Straw Hats permanently because that would make them the only crew with two D. Clan members or it will do the opposite. I’m 50/50 but I hope it’s the former.
Blackbeard and ace were on the same crew, also since the d is inherited i think its likely that there are some crews made up of multiple members of the same family and so will share the name D.

I agree. When you think about it, Big Mom and Hancock are the only known female characters to have conquerors haki. Vivi is a great learder and fights back against oppression so if anyone, Vivi is the best candidate.

My theory on vivi, after learning how important the family line was. What if something happens and she awakens conquerors' haki? If thats the case I wouldn't imagine her having a devil fruit power. But instead having Karoo be the user of a devil fruit. Think it would make a pretty cool scenario

Vivi is rejoining, if we add ViVi to the crew her bounty will skyrocket making her the tenth great officer of the straw hat crew. My theory for the final battle is we got 5 Gorosei Luffy and his 10 great officers and B.B. with his 10 titanic captains. Imu will probs end up fighting B.B. and Luffy Coby somehow joins the fight, Zoro and Shiryuu vs Samurai Gandhi, so on and so forth. I cannot wait for the final arc's battles.

I Really wish Oda would Address the Snow-Snow Fruit. Even if he says its not there thats fine but i just want an answer. Vivi getting Kuma's Paw-Paw Fruit makes way to much sense. Lili scattering the Poneglyphs with the Repel Ability. If Vivi and Lili are Lookalikes her getting the Paw-Paw Fruit is the Buff she needs. There is a reason why Kuma and Vivi's Stories are going at the same time
I loved that yuki yuki no mi theory matt. And the anticipation of how we didn't know if carrot was going to be a permanent member if the crew made it all the more compelling.
