After playing BF1, I was so hooked on and interested in World War I. Around that time Sabaton's album Great War was also out so that was another contributor to my exploration of WWI aesthetics and media portraying it. I remember spending much time in unlocking codex entries just to be left even more curious and searching for more info on internet about guns, technology and tactics of that time. Only sad part is that I finished high school just before summer at which I discovered the game, so I couldn't talk more about it in history classes.
the 1st world war is very interesting, it's the end of the old world, the beginning of a new era, 4 years of carnage, a generation sacrificed... without 1st war there is no 2nd world war, it is too often forgotten.

Battlefield 1 players ,, Don che tell me mate 'bout feelings that cannot be described ". Can someone explain me why that game is addictive and super fun ??(except russian hackers and try hard asian guys) I would have loved i battlefield 5 the next story campaign : seeing ww2 from german perspective but in the Battle of Stalingrad or Battle of Kursk ; and from japanese durring Pearl Harbor raid plus ofcourse massive banzai charges.

In my case, COD World at War and "Apocalypse WW1" and "Apocalypse ww2" and history of Russia led me into this kind of genre of music.
