Thanks for this helpful video, you are the first bonafide top quilter who has used the hand blanket stitch on your applique. I just finished my granddaughters baby quilt using this method, and because I have never done any quilting before, I thought what I was doing was probably the wrong thing, and that a real quilter would look down upon me for doing it that way. I really appreciate you showing us that it is ok and I will keep doing it as it is most theraputic. My single quilt has 170 separate hearts, 5 different sizes and is in Red, Pink and White. I am so happy with it and want to do more now.....thanks again for your tuition.
JUDITH LARRETT All ideas shown clearly - having Laura Roberts sew and explain as she goes is great! Applique ideas very timely for me - especially finishing those raw edges that have been fused.
Thank you .. this has been so helpful to me .. im making a memory blanket for my grownup kids with there childhood clothes .. much appreciated.. lotsa love from Johannesburg South Africa xxx

How do you control the movement of the fabric? Did you have to lower your feed dogs or put a darning plate on?
Was the green grass fabric on the Easter block painted, or is a print? If a print, where can I get some?
I like your sewing machine . ..its quiet
Pfaff Machines are the best. Especially the old old ones
