So when did you add the salt and sugar they were only mentioned in the ingrediant list I am guessing when you threw everything else in the jar. I like them crunchie too

You are right! This is the new kitchen we had remodeled last year so the upstairs kitchen is brand new same house new kitchen!!!

The salt and sugar should have been added along with the vinegar in the pan to dissolve them before putting them in the jar.
