Ferry Stena Nautica (Grenå - Varberg)

a film about the Stena Line ferry Stena Nautica in service on the route Varberg - Grenå in May 2012.
The Stena Nautica was built in 1986 as Niels Klim for the DSB.
From 1986-1991 she sailed on the route Århus - Kalundborg.
From February 1999 until the end of January 2020, the Stena Nautica sailed the Varberg - Grenå route until the route was closed down.
Since February 2020 the Stena Nautica has been sailing on the new route Grenå - Halmstad.

Beautiful video, very authentic. I was on that route a long time ago when I went to Sweden, in 1998, as a 16 year old boy. :D You could gamble on a couple of slot machines on board (29:29) or buy beer and cigarettes for reasonable prices for the last time before the arrival in Sweden, lol. I remember Grenå as a quite industrial port which was focussed on lorries, not so many passengers, but I'm not too sure. It was not raining like in this video, but the sky was as cloudy and grey as well. But I love the sound of the Danish language and their hot dogs. ;)
