Fantastic. Thank you! Great (haunting/bizarre?) song and great lesson. “Instant “G”: what a wonderful and practical way to envision hitting the open middle strings! 👍🎸😎
You're welcome, Tony! Skip James was a blues performer who sang in that register for his whole career - talk about haunting !! The guys in Canned Heat were surely familiar with him as they were all blues fans. Don't forget to subscribe - I'm hoping to reach 100k subscribers ! And check out my website: www.song-bike.com

You're right @mgunde! If you're interested I have a FREE Blues Guide PDF & video available at my website www.song-bike.com. And I do a TH-cam guitar Q&A livestream Saturdays at 5pm ET - check it out ! (on my TH-cam channel I have a playlist of dozens of past livestreams.)
Great lesson! I see where Radiohead has sued Lana del Rey and was also the subject of a lawsuit themselves for Creep (derived from the Hollies' The Air That I Breath. Maybe one of these would make a good 365 guitar lesson, you think? Thanks.
Thank you so much Jonathan. The blind owl would be proud to showcase one of his signature licks that you teach so we'll.👍🎸😀

He's right about the pick. Choke up for it on leads, and pull back for rhythms. Any genre

very interesting !
been thinking about that Hollies song for a while now !
I couldn't help but notice that your 12-bar blues has a 24-bar structure. OCD?
a little OCD ! it really has to do with how I presented the visual "picture" of the song - it's still a 12-bar blues !
Is it the feeling I get after I leave the 12th bar at 2:00 AM? And wrecked my car in the turn around. Just kidding, thanx for producing these videos.
Careful out there, Roger !! Don't forget to subscribe - I'm hoping to reach 100k subscribers ! And check out my website: www.song-bike.com
