In Ebay app, you can track ,who is delivering your item. If the seller is delivering through private courier service, like DTDC they will take care of Custom clearnce and during delivery you have to pay them that amount.If it is Indian post and customs did not checked your item then you no need to pay anything. Depending upon the amount you paid in Ebay, you need to pay 20 to 40% of order price you should pay as custom. It's upto the mood of the custom officer ,how much he will charge you. Good luck. I wish you receive the item without any extra payment.

i'm facing same problem, and i think its bcoz of the otp system on debit cards in india and on ebay there is no otp window it goes through directly thats why CREDIT CARDS works on ebay
