No need to put any of those non liquid stuff into your 3-1-1. It's only meant for liquids. Toothbrush, razor, hair brush, etc can be in a normal side and in a different pouch in your suitcase

There are some really good ideas here! Just wanted to clarify one thing: you showed the perfume in its original bottle and said “good” but even if the actual amount of liquid in the bottle is 3.4 ounces, the container itself cannot hold more than 3.4 ounces, so that partially filled bottle wouldn’t pass through (unless it’s smaller than it looked.) A final note, I loved the style of this video without all the long drawn-out unnecessary explanation - short and to the point!
Becca Irene Yes, it looks did look bigger, but I just thought for inexperienced travelers, it was worth mentioning that it’s the container size, not just the liquid amount. BTW, I’m looking up that StankStop! I’ve been looking for a deodorant that will last me for a 3-4 week trip but isn’t bulky. This just might be the answer!
Use solid shampoo, conditioner and body wash for even lighter packing!! you can further decant the moisuriser to a tiny jar,you don't need a container for bobby pins lol! you can fit jewellery in between two bits of cling film and put them into any tiny flat bag which is better for packing, you have to present the liquids by themselves in a one quart bag which is 20x20cm and no product can be over 100ml which is 3.5oz and no more than 10 all together with a total of 1 litre, it is good you can fit them all in and i do the same but even more space saving but the UK especially and other countries are very strict about the liquids going into the tray by themselves. So you could have them in two different bags i call them wet and dry lol! and then add them together afterwards. This is one of the best on you tube and i have seen plenty but there is still room for improvement x

Well done, love the toothpaste idea, I never thought of that! For shorter trips I like to decant creamy liquids into contact lens cases and label the lids, real liquidy stuff I put in tiny plastic eye dropper bottles with labels. I mostly use cream makeup on a daily basis and most of them are multi-functional which makes them awesome for travel, Nudestix multisticks even has a buffer brush in the packaging that works surprisingly well that you can remove for cleaning. Great video, every time I watch one of these I find a few more tips where I can further downsize my toiletry bag!
Smart ideas! One thing I do, because I usually travel with my husband and or family, is that I bring shampoo and conditioner for me and him. That helps a lot for us. We can also try to stay in an actual rental house to be able to use their washer and dryer, and showers. Most places do have a minimum of body soap and toothpaste in the bathroom if you go that route, which is excellent. And if you are in the US most towns have an inexpensive drugstore or Walmart nearby for emergency items.
I just watched a different video of yours where you said you're traveling soon and I wanted to say you should definitely make a video of you packing everything and any new stuff you got for the trip. Also you should vlog going to the airport and your trip

Good job! I also like to decant products that I’ll use in minuscule quantities but can’t omit (like heat protectant or face primer) in tiny zip-lock baggies. They will lay flat.

This great for giving ideas for ways to minimize toiletries and makeup. I would just put it out there that you should be prepared with a second quart size bag because I have had TSA agents make me separate my liquids/ gels from other items.

The TSA agent said that ONLY liquids and/ or gels should be in your liquids bag. Anything else (i.e. makeup brushes, pressed powder, etc.) should be in a separate bag. It wouldn’t necessarily have to be another quart-size bag.
Exactly! I normally pack a normal sized toiletry bag that my liquid bag fits inside of. That way when I'm not at the airport my toiletries are all together.
For my European Christmas Market tour 2 years ago later this year, the tooth paste, shampoo & conditioner tips help me & my family immensely! By the end of the trip, we still have lots of tooth paste left in that container for the 3 of us, and once we finished the bottle of shampoo or conditioner, which is an old face wash bottle, we just threw it away to make more room in our luggage & carry on. I also bought that Burt’s Bee tinted lip balm, because of you. It’s too bad I can’t use that in public, because of that darn mask we all have to wear out in public! 😡

You just saved me with this video I was trying to find a thorough video and no one was as detailed as you with the containers. Question: I have liquid matte lipstick I really wanna wear can I bring the whole tube or do I need to put it in a separate container? It’ says the tube is 0.11 oz. sorry I’m super new to flying and have no idea. Lol.
My advice, don't pack anything non gel, lotion, liquid in you liquids bag ... i. e. toothbrush, floss, hair grips etc. to leave more space for those things that really need to be on there.

Depending on where we go, we only bring toothbrushing equipment and Very basic make-up for me. The rest (hair and skin care, bulky mouth wash etc) we buy in the nearest supermarket or drugstore. Usually one piece (of shampoo etc) with a universal smell (dove) so everyone in the family feels okay smelling like it, and this saves us loads of space in the luggage.
If only I didn't need 12 different lipsticks to match my every mood, you know just in case ;)

You can melt them in small amounts and put them in an empty eyeshadow pallet.. that way you have 12 shades of mood lipsticks..
