Coaxial rotor with flybar explained

  • Here is my version of how the flybar works on this rotary aircraft. The first version had only a lead-lag hinge on the rotor blades and a fixed pitch. This was not enough for stable flight so i created a flybar. In later video´s i will explain more about controlling direction of flight also other versions of rotor aircraft.

    So the "Arduino" is apparently added for ballast, because it appears you have a ready to run RC radio set

      Mij radio is not enough to control direction of flight. You need to steer a rotorpair each rotation up and down at the right moment. With 300 rpm thats 10 movements per second
