This is one of my all time favorite skits ever on the show. Just such stupid nonsense but it was hysterical. My sister and me still quote this all the time and sing the dog show song. Lol

I just wanna snuggle Mr. Rocky Balboa so bad with that outfit and the obedience clearly trying to please everyone with his cool trick.
I love that Molly Shannon and Will Ferrell can hold their own in scenes together. Others tend to fade into the background with either, so love these two together!

Dogshow was one of the best skits that I've ever seen. The weird stuff they say in this skit really affected me as kid bc I grew up thinking it was HILARIOUS to give dogs long, awkward names or give them pronouns of the opposite sex. I even did the name thing with my hermit crabs and hamsters... I also dressed up all of my pets in Lavish outfits to do insane funny skits with them or fashion shows. (I still do) 🤣😂....I've had dreams of making Anne gettis baby photo shoots .... but with animals. This skit defined me !

That's a great idea and your should do them. I'd buy a calendar! Can't find it but there's a dog show segment where Mr. Rocky Balboa's tongue is sticking way out and Will and Molly can barely hold in their laughter. Good times. And oh! Schwetty Balls with Anna Gasteyer

I have a strange feeling that Will Farrell and/or Molly Shannon did this at home with their dogs, long before they got the idea to turn it into a sketch.
Saw the thumbnail and thought omg I LOVE dog show! This is all my teen years on the couch enjoying Molly and Will being hilarious. That cast was tremendous

Molly S is one of THE best female comedians ever !! This scene brings me back to my son and I watching the Westminister D.S. when a lady handler trotting along with her dog tripped and fell and did a roll on the ground during competition. We both fell out laughing . Good times ..
