Definitely come back during the summer. The seawall and downtown are just beautiful in the summer. You can ride the aquabus around false creek and hit a few spots, from Yaletown to Granville Island. There's a few other malls in Richmond where you can get some unique foods like Yaohan, Admirality Center. Grill King inside Lansdowne is as HK as you can get, offering HK style breakfasts and even pineapple buns with slabs of butter in them. I don't know how it compares to HK though and it's been a hit or miss there sometimes. There's so many other chinese restaurants that you can get good dim sum at, but the prices are getting a bit steep. If you're in Richmond anyways, Fisherman's Terrace inside Aberdeen Center is a good choice. Speaking of Aberdeen, it's another mall in Richmond, more modern and with a lot of interesting food options as well. If you can spare the day or overnight, drive up the sea to sky and visit Whistler Village, even in the summer. In the summertime it's mountain bike season but the village is home to a lot of great restaurants. Araxi is my favorite but the village is just a great place to spend a day, strolling around. My personal preference for best donuts here are at Lucky's Donuts, found inside Parallel 49th coffee.
You are lucky you are able to find an AirBnB as it's illegal in BC. But then there are still clueless AirBnB owners who don't watch or read the news. So, consider yourself lucky. 😁
Great video wearing your masks though even outside seems a bit weird? Filtering the fresh air? 😅 Neither of you seemed sick…and yes Vancouver (especially Richmond) has the best Asian food in North America IMHO
when you make a statement like that then it is highly offensive to many other people who may strongly disagree. How many cities have you actually gone to in north america and how long did you stay and are you biased racist?
Vancouver is AMAZING! Always felt so happy visiting there years ago with family and looks like the food is still stellar. All the food looked great 🗣
I even started to miss Vancouver a bit even though I'm in Hong Kong right now!

@@takanoritoriyama I recorded this quite a while ago, just didn't get around to posting until recently.
I would like to disagree, have you been to Montreal ever, even French people say it is a very high standard.
Montreal is quite nice as well!

It's their own personal view and experiences, it's nothing to do with racism. If you are so inclined, make your own YT travel/food video
