      Men have testicles between the legs. Traditional testicles are relatively sensitive to being crushed and they respond poorly to it. It's not a social thing, it's simple physics, two objects can not occupy the same space at the same time. Ironically, vaginas seem to enjoy being smashed and occupied. Life is crazy isn't it.

      I started my health journey because I woke up in mid January 2019 in severe pain unable to move for around 3 days... except to crawl to bathroom etc, due to a combination of being fat and having a disability... cerebral palsy... my weight was around 118kgs.. maybe 120kgs.. I didn't use a scale this point
      I knew from observing my family and friends, that the typical weight loss diet.. so I started asking the question
      Why do we get fat... what is fat fot... if the body puts on fat so easy than it most be important etc.
      I found keto and many of awesome doctors in the keto space...which lead me to carnivore
      I am have full functionality, very little pain, given that I have cerebral palsy
      I now weigh 92kgs..never get tired. 36 inch waist, improved focus and I train daily
      Life just gets better everyday
      Thanks to people like Mark and the Power Project crew and Dr Paul Saladino, just Dr Shawn Baker and many many others

    I love the idea of regenerative farming and animals raised like that.. However, In Canada , specifically 300 km north of the border, animals won't survive the winters without hay. Which has to be farmed. I'd like to hear you guys discuss that particular conundrum.

    • @richardbeaumont7960
      @richardbeaumont7960 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yigenurem, hay is just dried grass so its species appropriate for a cow. No problem. We fed hay to cattle in NZ during winter too, even though they were still living on the pasture outdoors. The hay was grown and cut on the same farm during summer. You just leave a field empty of stock for 3 months then mow it.

The fact that his fasting blood glucose was elevated (like a lot of athletes ) can’t by itself indicate pre diabetes particularly when his fasting insulin was very very low. It was a cheap and dishonest shot by a small minded and dishonest MD As for low testosterone Dr Baker talks about it here: shawn-baker.com/testosterone-its-complicated/. I’m surprised Kahn didn’t say something nasty about Dr Bakers MD qualifications as well just for good measure.

The extra large cow lot type of cow destroy the topsoil and tills the topsoil. Should be using heritage cows which are medium to small cows for regenerative grazing

      My experience tells me that meat, particularly beef, has unique muscle and tendon building properties that is separate from replacing junk food. I was a whole food lacto/ovo vegetarian for 30 years. Then slowly transitioned to Paleo/Primal, then LCHF, then keto with meat. By focusing on beef and restricting my plant matter, I've put on 5 pounds of muscle this year at age 53. I've always been fit and very active, but my body was stalled for decades as far as the ability to build muscle. Tendons are getting stronger everyday.

    Fully agree with Shawn, except for liver just can't force myself to eat stuff, in my country grass fed is horribly expensive and hard to get and I full agree with him, even grain fed meat will be hundreds of times healthier than SAD. I do not believe that meat from grain fed animals is poisonous or whatever, it just lack for sure CLA and omega 3 ... but those I get from fish oil, fatty fish, .... to compensate. Still would be nice to have some study to compare various meats.

If you can't get all of your nutrients from the raw version of your food (without supplementation) then your diet is not sustainable or healthy ***cough*** vegans ***cough***. Btw, biggest green house gas that has the most effect on the planet's temperature is WATER VAPOR. Also, for hundreds of thousands of years CO2 levels LAG increases in global temperatures. So CO2 DOES NOT contribute to global warming. Climate alarmists ignore the effects of the SUN on global warming, what a fucking joke.

  • @nbakes24

    Eh when Paul says the vegetarian/vegans don’t talk about soil regeneration, not tilling the land, life gives more life including grazing animals as mention. It’s extremely obvious to any grower the importance of more life, manure fertilisers, pollinators etc i understood the same but from WFPB following… point being it’s not a carnivore supposition as Salidino paints it.. Infact it’s probably more mixed eaters generally!
    But in any case I feel these two guys talk down on impossible burgers / canola oil (rightly so) to make their beliefs stronger despite Saldino actually being more a mixed eat anyway now including rice and fruit because he can justify it with his branding of “ancestral” consistent and his health declined 😅 rice has anti nutrients in it just the same as other roots, nuts and seeds!
    The truth is always much more simpler that what people, there’s positives and negatives to processing any foods

    So are we talking about carnivore for general population or for athletes or for obese and/or sick people? I see carnivore diet as a good elimination diet for people with some bad digestive issues or issues with autoimmunity etc.. But since this is mainly performance channel for powerlifters etc.. I really don't know why is carnivore so hot topic now? I don't see any good athletes on carnivore diet. Carnivore diet - high protein, high fat, zero carb diet is maybe ok for regular people who don't have hard job, who like to maybe workout 4 times a week. But if you are lets say construction worker + you are running, cycling, doing crossfit etc.. You need A LOT of carbs. For example just for 4 hour bike ride full gas you need like 60-90g of carbs every hour just fuel this one workout. Well guess what if you are in ketosis you can't do it. So like I said carnivore is just for people who are not moving much..

      @MarkBellsPowerProject  5 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      who says you can't? Terrible mindset. Are you going to win the Tour De France on carnivore? No, you need a lot of EPO for that. Will Joe
      Schmoe the weekend warrior who hops on his bike be able to perform well on carnivore, absolutely. We are talking about a majority of the population. In your example, the savage construction worker who has time to work at least 8 hours of heavy labor, then follow that up with running, cycling and crossfit, first off, we'd love to meet him, second, he would still thrive on a carnivore diet. If he's capable of accomplishing all that in one day, he probably already has a solid diet and eats plenty of meat. He's got it figured out. He's also not competing at a pro level. And because this person is made up, he is now a she. She definitely doesn't use the word, "can't". She doesn't even have that word in her vocabulary. If she wanted to leave her construction job and attempt to compete at the Crossfit games, she definitely should add some carbs into her diet, but she's really focused on her construction job right now. Plus she thinks it's time to settle down and commit to a serious relationship. Her dream guy is someone like Rich Froning, but she just hasn't had any luck. Her high volume in training and work leaves dudes in the dust. She is starting to believe her work ethic is almost a curse at this point. Buy a fucking mountain bike and go ride to the hills for 4 hours with beef jerky in your pocket instead of bananas and gels and then you can talk hehe..
