    Thank you for sharing this. I use 5V USB-LED-strips built into my guitars (am a luthier based in Japan.). I have yet to find a power bank without a "power switch" or turning itself off. Yours looks like it can do it, if keeping it switched on! It is listed as not available though.
    The guitars are closed, the power bank is in the body. There is a lid to open and close, but it is a pain in the butt to always switch on the power bank first. The LEDs shall be operated only by the remote. Any advise on that? All models I tried so far have the same problem. LEDs cannot be switched on only via remote without activating the power bank first. Help plz. Getting gray hair. USB C to A adaptors didn't do it either.

    hi there- great video , thanks so much. Quick question- for running 2 led strips( 5m and 2m) could I run off 1 battery pack by using a USB adaptor that allows me to use 2 usb's in one port.

    Hey great video! Question for you, if I want to buy that battery pack, but I want motion sensored LED strips, what is the best led strip to buy?

      Hi, you can add this motion sensor to the standard lights mentioned in the description: amzn.to/3QMzRG6

    Hello. Great video. I’m looking at running 2 separate runs of 5 meters long of water proof strip lights. Would it be better to run two power packs? Will I get more run time the bigger the power pack? Thanks.

    • @solderingironguide
      @solderingironguide  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. Yes, 2 battery packs would give you more runtime as well as a larger pack. Be sure to get dimmable lights, the dimming, even a little, really helps it run longer.

    • @DarrinBalthrop
      @DarrinBalthrop ปีที่แล้ว

      How big of a power pack would you suggest. I see them as high as 80 dollars on the Amazon link. If dimmed properly, what kind of runtime might I get. I’m hoping for a few hours at least.

    • @solderingironguide
      @solderingironguide  ปีที่แล้ว

      For several hours of runtime, you can use 2 of the small packs in my description.

    • @solderingironguide
      @solderingironguide  ปีที่แล้ว

      The dimmer is built in to the led strip you buy, just search one that is dimmable and the length you need. Both + connectors on amazon too.

    The shelf that I want to light up; has no convenient power source.
    However there are 4 different compartments within the shelf ( 1m length LED strip required) which I would like to light up.
    How may I link 4 strips of LED to a single battery source ?
    The distance between the LED strips to the battery source approx 1m.

    • @solderingironguide
      @solderingironguide  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kana, just cut the LED strip in the 4 lengths you need. Then solder 3/4 wires to each to connect them again. And connect to the battery at the end.
