Do you recall what happened when horus brought all the remembrancer together on the vengeful spirit? That's what I was thinking with all the content creators in warhammer world.... But all was good and nice as it seems
I didn’t think I’d get emotional watching a Play on Tabletop video but here we are. My first army was Tau and the first battle report I saw included Nick’s Tau, it gave me huge encouragement when I was totally clueless starting off. Nowadays I’m practically drowning in models and I suspect some of my enthusiasm came from the most boundlessly energetic member of Play on Tabletop. Nick wherever you are you have my love and admiration.
I looked at the miniatures that games workshop made and I loved the look of the Tau and then I was introduced to this channel with the Tau army showcase
I have such an odd fascination with that Astartes statue outside Warhammer World that's clearly been there since the days of Squats and German Orks. It's the last remaining vestige of retro WortyK.
Well playon tabletop is setting the standard for shortform and well edited content. You in particular are a great representative of your company and the game. Enthusiastic, charismatic and seemingly always a little surprised you get to play games for a job. Keep up the great work and cheers for sharing.
And imagine all the people that can't afford this hobby but are passionate about something they will never get to play, meet or talk with so many other fans around the world. Yet we still follow the lore, and we get excited for every announce! I am happy GW did this event. It really does humanize them and i love it! Love from Argentina to y'all, The Emperor Protects!
as someone in the UK who lives close enough to WW, i never really thought about the pure magic that overseas players are missing out on by not being able to go. Even on a regular day when there isnt an event, it truly is the best time ever
With all the content creators in one place, who else was expecting Games Workshop to pull a Game of Thrones and wipe everyone out with some wildfire? :D
now THAT was an adventure to a world of warhammer and warhammer youtube legends and creators!! i recognized alot of those people from youtube and think the collaboration 40k battles would be amazing!!
I've been visiting Warhammer World for over a decade on a regular basis, especially for events. I can confirm, that they are indeed very passionate and this has clearly not changed from my visit to this event.
This is the most wholesome and enjoyable Warhammer video I’ve ever seen. I was falling out of love with the hobby but this video reminded me of such good times. Thank you so much for posting.
This is a perfect example that there is a difference between GW and Warhammer. Warhammer is the people, us the players and GW the company who sadly make some choices we as customers like. Anyway, it was really fun to see you have so much fun and looking forward to more of you guys content :)
Thanks for the video Nick. That is a really heartfelt message and awesome to see a place I’ve not been since I was knee high to a grasshopper - it still looks mind blowing 20 years later.
I really wish that the rest of the Play On Tabletop crew will get the chance to do such a cool trip in the future. All you guys are amazing. Keep it up!
Nice content. and I really love about Tau Nick in his attitude and passion on warhammer this is one of my favorite WH channel on TH-cam. Love and Support from Thailand.
Im continually blown away by you on camera presence. The way you go about engaging with the camera is like your talking to your best friend. I've never actually ever played the game due to the cost, to be competitive. However I am a avid prpg player who at one point got to be a glitter boy pilot during a "Rifts" campaign which is basically a crisis suit with a rail cannonalways look forward to the Play On content..... so plz keep following your own advice and "Keep Playing On!"
What an awesome opportunity to check out an amazing place with amazing people! I hope GW makes this a regular event so we can see more of our favorite content creators/hobbyists have fun nerding out with each other and being wholesome. Oh, and there's a 40k escape room there in good ol' Nottingham too! I bet the crew would love to give that a go!
Kill Team Challenger was like, my favorite content when I first stumbled on this channel. Definitely hype for it to come back, whether it uses the old rules or the new ones.
Awh man, I live 40 mins away from Warhammer world, wish I watched the socials would have been awesome to say hello! You guys are honestly one of my favourite channels
Beautiful presentation. The genuine joy you experienced seems like it will be something you carry with you the rest of your life. We all hope we have that moment in our lives.
This is what I wish the people who are getting in the warhammer universe know more about this video. Because I know that if it's a big company it makes people feel weary and tired of not feeling that familiarity and soulful. But this gives me happiness 😊 and hope that hoppies like this brings people like you, me and everybody who is in to this 😁 in the grim darkness of the far future there is only war and hope (not tzeentch hope).
Absolutely lovely video, always great to see all of these creators but to see them TOGETHER and united in one big project WITH Games Workshop does make me hopeful for the future. I feel like this was one big sign of good will GW is trying to rebuild to showcase that they do understand how much of an impact all of you have on their game. And you do a WONDERFUL job. That ending, though....legit got me to tear up! Like...it is truly powerful to see how much this community can bring people together and make something so wonderful. That kid!? Signing his model!?! That is fantastic! Look at you guys, making SUCH an impact! I am certain you made that kids day as you sure as hell made mine. Play on, you wonderful people, play on.
Nick is such an amazing guy who’s so passionate about his hobby and it’s lovely to see it☺️ I’ve just recently got into the hobby myself I collect ultramarines 💙🤙🏻
So weird seeing that you were here in the UK and linking up with the UK based creators I follow. Happy to hear you had an amazing time. Keep up what you're doing and thanks again for getting me back into 40k!
Pfff, they are a soulless cash machine. Are you expecting them to send you free stuff?😂 They don't give a feck about customers and their games come in second place to pleasing shareholders.
well the people who work there love what they are doing and love the fans. the corpos up top only care about making money. it is nice to hear that the average gw employee actualy cares about what they do though
YES you have to do a table top titans game! And/or play on one of their streams! Such cool dudes, would love to see their space wolves against your tau!
The golden days of the official warhammer painting tutorials were when it was Emma (Electric Eve) and Duncan. The generally released ones aren't much good now but the masterclass vids on Warhammer+ from Aidan and Louise (06:06) are excellent.

Well I wish it was Steve who come to Warhammer World to see his fascination on space marines, but since He's a busy teacher so its understandable. But (Tau?/Genestealer?/Guard?)Nick is great too, his passion for hobby is very very amazing to watch

awesome video Nick 👍🏼 be good if they did something like that every few years when something big happens in the game! help promote it etc like a new race or big in game events! (return of the god emperor or chaos doing something, necrons cleansing the galaxy of nids or something)
One very happy kid tau there Nick :) Is this GW rebuilding the culture of the game with everyone again? Hopefully it is. Be nice if they let content creators make short vids again.

That’s funny 😂

It still all happens because of GW. As love hate as they can be, they do make what we love. Denying it I'd crazy.
Without GW there is no war hammer
Making my own pilgrimage to WH world in a few days! Sad I couldn’t make it to the event but I’m so happy I’ll get to see the project in person!
