Best dim sum in Guangzhou 🥟 Life in my 20's in Guangzhou vlog 2023, a week in my life in Guangzhou ✨

- Hi! 💛 We're in Guangzhou 🇨🇳✨ We got right down to business and ate at one of the best dim sum places in Guangzhou 🐷 With full bellies, we took the night river cruise, which I highly recommend if you're in the area! It is a quick 30-min cruise and you can get the best skyline views of Guangzhou (and see the Canton Tower up real close)! 🗼
The next day, we started our day with another round of best dim sum in Guangzhou 🤤 and then went to Panyu Yuyin Shanfang, which is one of the Four Great Gardens of Central Canton and considered the best example of a classical Lingnan Garden 🍃 We had tea at the tea house inside of the garden 🍵
We went to the best rice noodle rolls (cheung fan) place in Guangzhou for breakfast and walked to Yongqing Fang and Shamiandao Island 🏃♀️ Then we went up 68 floors of an office building to a cafe that served VIEWS 😭🫶 You can see the best views of Guangzhou from the 68th floor enjoying coffee (except my grape ade was minty LOL) ✨
Then we went to Nanfeng Ancient Kiln Zone, which is about 1-hr drive away from Guangzhou, to see some amazing porcelain that they're well known for! We looked around all the stores and then drove to The Ancestral Temple, known for its ties with martial arts ✨ We saw the lion dance performance and THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY CRAZY 👀👀👀

Love your video. The last time I was in Guangzhou was 28 years ago. From your videos, the place has changed so much but I do remember a few iconic places which are still there. From all my travels in China, Guangzhou has the best food and is truly a gastronomic hot-spot and lives up to its name. @@etvisual2010 順德煲仔飯(惠福路店), but we were trying to go to 民记煲仔饭(北京路步行街店), which is across the street and much more famous. There's a bunch of claypot restaurants on the block and they all looked good!

That is difficult! There are so many good places to eat in guangzhou! I have some below, but it’s best if you can look through 小红书. It will depend on what you want to eat, but here are some popular options:
Street food: 西华路，龙洞美食街， 北京路步行街，上下九步行街
Dim sum: 喜糖酒家（广报中心店）， 白天鹅宾馆，广州酒家

Hi! Chanced upon this video as I was planning my itinerary to Guangzhou next week😂 How much USD did you spend per day for 2 pax for the food, accommodation and transportation? Also, do they accept cash still or mostly Alipay? 😂
Hi! ☺️ Depends on how you want to do your trip, do you like fine dining or street food more, maybe a mix of both? Fine dining might get you to $30-40/meal/person, while you can eat a lot for just $5 at a local restaurant/street food stall! We did a mix of both and it was roughly $60 USD/per person per day for food. Accommodation depends as well, we stayed with family, but I'm seeing $100/night for 5 star hotels or $50 for local 4-star hotels in the heart of the city! Lastly, transportation also depends on if you want to use DiDi or public transportation. We mostly used DiDi's which averaged around $6-7 trip, our longest DiDi trip was an hour and a half and $20. Public transportation is less than $0.50/person usually. Alipay or WeChat Pay is highly recommended, everyone prefers it because it's quicker and easier. Most places will take cash, but they also aren't happy about it 😅 Hope this helps and have fun next week! ✨
Also wanted to add, there's plenty of good restaurants at $15/20 per person, nothing fancy but very good traditional cantonese food!! 😊

Hello, may I know how much does it cost you to eat in the round 2 dimsum place? 🤔
Hello! It cost us around 175 RMB per person, but also depends on what you like to order! But should still be around that price ☺️
For example dim sum dishes can range anywhere from 30 RMB to 60 RMB, I forget the exact price! Also at these dim sum places there's a per person "tea fee" which is 25 RMB if you want to sit by the window 😂 Hope that was helpful!!

which month did you visit? I know its a warmer area year round but trying to determine wardrobe as I will move there for work
Hi! I visited in August, so it was hot and humid! But in the winter, it doesn't get too cold, but most places don't have heat during the winter, so can feel quite cold despite the temperature! Definitely recommend a thicker jacket than you would expect to wear during Guangzhou's winter 💪
July, August, September are very hot and humidy, and not the good season travel in GZ, and all other season will be fine.
BTW, if someone like to expreince the hurrican in tropical area, August and September would be good chance to enjoy the hurrican in Guangzhou, which is funny.

Yes it is open to public but you need to make a reservation! Honestly the food/drinks are not the best, but if you go for the view it's worth it!
It's called 及象咖啡Air(越秀金融大厦店) and we made the reservation on 高德地图 but I think you can also make reservations on other platforms like 大众点评 too!

When I see all the delicious foods on offer and large portions, I am rather surprised that most people are in good shape, I say that because I think I would end up somewhat larger after a time in China 😄

I always heard a lot of great things about Guangzhou (especially the food)! ✨ And it honestly exceeded my expectations in every way and I can definitely say it's my favorite city I've been to in China so far! 🌟 And yes also nice that his family is from this city haha 💕
There are Korea town in GuangZhou.
There are about 200k Korean are working, living, studing in China and have Korea town in some cities in China, such as shanghai, GuangZhou, qingdao, Dalian, Beijing....
