Reminds me so much of living in north wales in the early seventies and using this road which wasn't long opened getting into Liverpool then someone told me about the A41 and the Birkenhead tunnel which was more convenient for me getting to the pier head for the ferry to Belfast, and the funny thing is my youngest daughter went to university in Liverpool and now lives on the Wirral and the last Time I took the car over I had a nice nostalgic trip on both the A41 and the M53 lovely memories of when I was younger,thanks for the post

In 2011, I drove to Chester, which is a nice city, through this tunnel and the M53 Thanks !

I think Ive been through this before looking at the entrance it reminds me of when I went to see the Queen Mary set sail and went through here on the way back. Didnt know what it looked like at the start now I do.
