So I live near London, and work in London, and my kid works at GL. I’ve been there 3 times, and my fave thing is the fries. Everything else is okay, but I think I like healthier vegan food better. The chimichanga was good, and their sour cream is bang on from what I recall sour cream being like. I just really love those fries as a treat once in a while!
I don't have time to watch it right now but, I clicked like anyways because you two are fantabulous. I just thought of a fun recipe I'd like to see you do, Beeramisu. I'm going to ask some other tubers to do it too.
Too cool! I was born and raised in Port Huron, Mich. Sarnia, Ontario was just over the Blue Water Bridge. Not too awfully far from London, Ontario. Back in my day, as a non vegan, Chinese food and fish n chips ruled.
London's got a pretty decent vegan scene now! Chinese food and fish n chips are such classics, still working on perfecting our vegan fish n chips recipe, stay tuned!
Hope the cameramen got to partake ; ) I love this restaurant idea, and I love that a charming town like London is pioneering it in that area. I always stop off in London when driving from Michigan to visit TO, so I will check this place out the next time I do. TFP, ladies : )
I love globally local! I travel 1.5 - 2 hours to get there too...from Kingsville. So worth it! I love the drive thru place. There’s also another globally local on Dundas!! My fav dessert is the s’mores cookie and the whoopie pie. They never have the whoopie pies in stock at the drive thru location, though! Ahhh I’m so jealous watching you guys eat globally local 😭
Very worth it. We were thinking about going to the other location, but it was just easier to stay at the one and the drive thru was a must! We really need to go back for dessert
Happy Birthday!! I tried the "famous burger" last year at Veg Fest Hamilton. It was so delicious!! I got the burger and a butter tart (from another vender). I really miss butter tarts.
Lol had to call up your video to see what you recommend here... I'm sitting in their drive thru now and so sad they're out of mac n cheese 😞 oh well another road trip to come!
@@TwoMarketGirls their chicken fingers which my non vegan boyfriend really liked. He said he couldn't taste the difference. Tried the vopper (didn't care for it)... tried the maple bacon breakfast sandwich.
Happy Birthday Dev! I’d be ecstatic if I lived close to a 24 hour drive thru vegan fast food place! We need a place like that to franchise as big as McDonalds ✌🏻🌱😋
Awe that's a bummer. It's nice being able to go out to such good restaurants, but we're also very thankful for all the great vegan recipes online for when going out isn't an option :)
Two Market Girls and that is why I watch your videos! I am getting ready for a long road trip in my motor home! I will be looking for these good vegan options in big cities!
You came to London and didn't go to Plant Matter Kitchen?? Daaang. Globally Local is great, but I looove PMK. Or vegan poutine from The Root Cellar!! I live in London and the vegan scene is surprisingly big. :)
We've been to PMK before, so this time we focused just on Globally Local. Had a very tasty brunch at PMK, but haven't made it to The Root Cellar yet! Guess we'll have to go back to London :D
famous burger was the best and fries supreme . i hated the mac n cheese the voper was not that great but maby its because i ate the famous burger first witch blew me away.
"which one do you like better?" did we all think this question was directed towards their boyfriends because the transition was so quick hahahahahahah "it's me obviously"
Omg wish they had it all over the USA
And all over Canada plzzz!

That's fair, everyone has their preferences! We're just a little obsessed with the breakfast sandwiches... The fries were really good though!
I am so jealous of your access to a vegan drivethrough! I was drooling the entire time. That's what I get for watching this on an empty stomach.
Haha very dangerous to watch this on an empty stomach. Already considering driving out there again for more...
I don't have time to watch it right now but, I clicked like anyways because you two are fantabulous. I just thought of a fun recipe I'd like to see you do, Beeramisu. I'm going to ask some other tubers to do it too.
You're so sweet! Also Beeramisu sounds like a very interesting concept... Care to elaborate?
Tiramisu made with beer.
It looks more fun than usual!
It is a terribly good movie!

Haha, they did! Ate lots of food. We love that London started it, we just wish they would continue it at little closer to Toronto, haha.

Definitely recommend it, especially for the breakfast sandwiches
Happy Birthday Dev! April was a good month 😃 (mine is this next Sunday) 😉
Thank you! Happy Birthday to you as well :D
Awesome vid! Thanks for sharing.
Could you please do a review of beechwood donuts? ☺️☺️☺️
Thank you for watching! We will add beechwood donuts to our list of places to review, always down for donuts :)
Two Market Girls yay! Looking forward to that. 😁
Happy Birthday!! I tried the "famous burger" last year at Veg Fest Hamilton. It was so delicious!! I got the burger and a butter tart (from another vender). I really miss butter tarts.
Thank you! Haven't found any other good vegan butter tarts? Maybe we'll have to try making some

Haha that's awesome! Honestly you didn't miss much with the mac n cheese... what did you end up trying?

Today I went to bliss kitchen in Haliburton/Burlington area.
Great Video. Happy Birthday 🎂🎉

Thank you! Totally agree, Globally Local needs to takeover :D
Going today and I’m pumped
It was great
Awesome!! What did you get?
Very well made video. Also, food worth the money!
Thank you! Definitely worth the money :D
Happy Birthday Devin!! I wish Globally Local was in Toronto too :p
Thank you! Agreed, it's way too far away!
They just opened in Toronto! But you probably know already 😁
Why is this only in London, I hope they expand closer to Toronto!! Looks delish and I love the concept
Right?! Really hope they expand more soon
Zoe Rogers there’s one in Toronto now!
That’s funny! I wish we had good vegan food here! The Gulf Coast of Florida is beautiful but the south hasn’t embraced the vegan thing yet!
Awe that's a bummer. It's nice being able to go out to such good restaurants, but we're also very thankful for all the great vegan recipes online for when going out isn't an option :)

Lydia B. Agreed. PMK and Root Cellar are miles better.

Wish it wasn't so far from Toronto 😣
Sameee
Happy Birthday!
Thank you!
Looks delicious. Sucks the Mac n cheese wasn't more cheesy flavored it looked creamy. I love loaded fries and well anything potato. Lol
Anything potato is a definite yes from us too.
famous burger was the best and fries supreme . i hated the mac n cheese the voper was not that great but maby its because i ate the famous burger first witch blew me away.
Yea we didn't like the mac n cheese much either, but the rest was pretty good. Have you tried their chick'n fingers or chick'n burgers? So good!
chicken burger was ok i would never go their and order it over famous burger and fries supreme with a smores cookie
"which one do you like better?"
did we all think this question was directed towards their boyfriends because the transition was so quick hahahahahahah "it's me obviously"
Hahaha, swear it was about the sandwiches....
Let us meet the boyfriends!
Haha maybe some day
I'm a Vegan 45 years now and I never wanted my food to resemble meat.
