These are the GRV-2's afterburner speed trials which were recorded at El Mirage dry lake bed in California. This bike features the GR-7 experimental turbojet engine which was built from a Cummins VT-50 14-liter diesel engine turbo. The bike is propelled entirely by the reactive thrust produced by the home-built GR-7 afterburning turbojet engine which was last recorded at 67 pounds (static).
