the irs chips can do much more than 500w,i'd say that's a minimum power output, assuming it can take up to 100 volts per side, you can safely assume it can output at least 90v with good fets
@@JohnB-2021 i did some quick maths and yeah you get about 500w at 8 ohms 63vrms,but nothinh is preventing you from running at 2 or 1 ohms with good fets
Not really. Because if they turn everything up and fire one signal into it, then if they can show it supplied 1400 watts PEAK music power, for 1 nano second, then that is good enough. The fact that one can never get that peak power in real life does not matter. The bass is 500 watts and then you can add the treble to make the number higher. Still, not bad power from a £250 speaker.
It has half the RMS compared to the RCF 715 MK4, the tone is nice but the wattage is very low. It constantly turns on the limiter and cuts the sound.
So many doing this, even rcf caught in it now & they do decent pascal boards, keep truth coming out and education. Great Video
Thanks, will do!

Yes and put 2 of them in to get double the power and?
The amp has 65 volts
i this case you are limited by the power supply,i was just pointing out you can get huge power from irs type chips
@@PetruV I’m wondering why the first page of the data sheet quotes up to 500 watt
