The original sun in the sky, the reflection on the sea, and one in the middle, which we presumed was a reflection in the sea mist. I have never seen this since, nor any reference to it, and unfortunately, the 16mm colour film has been lost.

The sun should appear very small as it comes towards you from the distance. getting bigger and bigger as it moves over your head. after all it a giant light ball as you claim. So giant it's suppose to enlight half of the earth. 🤷🏻 and then it's suppose to get smaller and smaller until it will look like a dot of light in the horizon for it is way way higher then our point of view relative to the horizon.
I don't know how many times I watched for that green flash in Hawaii and never saw anything except for maybe a little smear of blue-green. Kind of an anticlimax every time. I thought the cloudy sunsets were much nicer.
PAUSE at T = 2:24 , The green flash isn't as subtle as people assume it to be. It's actually seen on the edges of the sun as it disappears in the horizon. Since the camera hasn't focused perfectly, you can observe a fainted tint of green and that lasts for a moment.
