If that white 5.0 had a built motor. That Audi would have been smoked, and it’s even built. Goes for the rest of the 100,000 plus cars. Compared to a 40,000 car with not even 10gs put into it. Smh
The Audi is stock motor, AMS Alpha 9 with some Alpha 10x goodies. The 5.0 was spinning a bit on those runs. Built motor to built motor, I'd put my money in the R8
10k into it?🤣 As long as you’re doing all the labor yourself and taking every shortcut. Just getting the motor in and out is expensive. Forged internals are more. Having the motor torn down, machined and reassembled is more. Ported heads, more. Cams, more. A clutch that won’t slip is more, IDX1XXX injectors are more yet. The turbos, intercooler + charge piping, fab time + fuel system + trans, halfshafts, driveline and diffs, tuning etc etc etc, break in oil, more break in oil, expensive zinc additive oil...boost controller... You think it’s 10k, and if you built a junkyard car with a couple of junkyard turbos and some drilled out injectors it might be 10k in parts and work the first few passes. Definitely not the next few.
Always excuses from mustang fanboys if it had this if it had that. It lost . Price is a tired talking point you run what you brung and can afford . Price means nothing. Some people can afford expensive car and then build them while others have to buy cheap or junk yard cars and mod them. Always better to start your build on a fast solid platform anyway. You get what you pay for.

Thats the thing with this kind of racing. Without clear start and finish lines its difficult(at best) to know who won. To me this is just for fun.
It's a mph sprint, usually a 100mph spread. 60-160, 40-140 etc
