Cheers John! Yes I don't often see videos from that position, but since I do that location so often it's worth shaking things up a tad; I'm glad you think it works! Regards, Dan
Good to catch up with ya properly this time mate without the big tight squeeze! always good to do the shakeys, the usual ‘cuppa’ and a walk of the dog is a personal highlight :)
Cheers! The thingy parked in the siding is a tamper of some sorts. The one that they store in Kings Norton is the MPV (leafblower lol) so given Autumn is approaching I suspect we'll see lots of that fairly shortly lol. Regards, Dan
If you'd been standing at the top of the footbridge, you would have had a unbeaten panoramic view. I love watching a steamy pass directly underneath, a fine top view of the engine plus a glimpse inside her cab as she goes away. Try a top view of Clun Castle next time. If you wave madly enough, the Driver might give you a shrill toot of the whistle for your camera.
Beautiful, just beautiful. Supreme elegance in action
Thank you very much! I'm very glad you enjoyed the film - Castles are very elegant locomotives indeed. Regards, Dan
What an excellent video! Truly no sight more beautiful than these. Thank you Crunchy Nut! :)
Thank you very much! I'm very glad you enjoyed it all! The Castles really are excellent. Regards, Dan
This is how all steam-hauled trains should be - a load well within the engine's capacity, and no diesel on the back. Nicely filmed, thank you.
Thank you very much! yes it's lovely to see them unassisted! Regards, Dan
Dan, Not the usual position at Bentley Heath but it worked well. Regards, John

Cheers Andy! Regards, Dan
Excellent video, as always. What’s in the siding at Bentley Heath? Noticed that Kings Norton yard was empty yesterday.
