I don't know much of Jk before until I heard this song Buwan last night, so in love with it, I have a glance on him on the voice kids season 1 and he has grown so much!, I have a new OPM song favorites now after Hinahanap Hanap kita of Rivermaya 1995-1996 hits if not mistaken, I was 13 back then my first learned song with my guitar! This kind of music brings me back to the past, the era of OPM hit makers!😍😍😍

Now that's much better! Better than Korean or foreigner influence songs. This kid and his band will be much more famous and will create more well-meaningful OPM songs. OPM is good! Do not lose it's value and trade it for foreign songs. Even foreigners love OPM songs.

Im 48yo. A mom of two boys aged 21 and 17. I first heard this song being played by my youngest while he was doing the dishes. It was last year, when this song was newly released. Listening to it reminded me of my dad, the music of 60's. I was wondering then, why would a 17yo boy listen to this music? I asked my son, who is that singer? His music sounded old but theres some rythm to it that takes you somewhere in the now. I was amazingly surprised to know that the singer/composer was the cute boy in the voice several years back. You captured the old sound and yet gave the song some NOW rythm.

Same here. I heard my nephews and nieces singing it last yr during my vacation. My mom was laughing at them coz why would they sing a song with lyrics of "sa ilalim ng buwan" (that's how my mom heard it) and she asked them what song was it and they told her it is a new song from a young artist. Mom was just laughing as she said the lyrics sounded like an old song.
Everytime I hear this song now, it reminds me of my lovely nephews, nieces and my mom's laugh. As for me, it reminds me of good old OPM songs from the 90's bands. It reminds me a lot of Eraserheads and it really brings back memories. Thanks for that JK.

WOW!!! Kagabi ko lang po ito nakita ang videos ni JK LABAJO, at ng kanyang mga kasamahan sa banda nila, masasabi kung WOW!!! Couple of years ago, nanood po ako dito din videos na may nag basheds sa kanya, pero ipinagtanggol ko ang bata na ito dahil pareho kami ng late mother niya na may sakit sa pancreas. Mas, proud ako sa batang ito dahil alam kung nakikita niya ang paghihirap ng mommy niya, sobra kasing painful ang mga pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis (gaya sa akin), at ang mama ni JK ay namatay sa pancreatic cancer. ITO PO ANG PINAKASAKIT NA SAKIT NG ISANG TAO!!! ANG HIRAP NG KANIYANG NAKIKITA NOON SA PAGHIHIRAP NG MOMMY NIYA, pero alam kung proud siya at natutuwa sa langit sa nakita niyang pagtatagumpay ng anak. he is such a good young actor also, kasi napanood ko po siya sa last teleserye nila ni Bea at Ian, kasama sila dito JK, Julia and etc... yung thankful ka na di ka naka-premium sa spotify HAHAHAHA just discovered this song through ads. nagmadali akong pinindot yung song title to listen to the whole song and to also know who's the artist medj nakakabigla because it's the same cheeky guy from the voice. he grew up so well.

This guy is genius. He's above all other contemporary singers. His raw talent shows his intelligence as a singer despite his young age. There are only two types of singers in the world: artist and interpreter. An artist knows how to sing from the heart while an interpreter sings how the song is sung as directed or sung by its original singer. JK is a pure genius who sings from his heart with emotion. Emotion can't be faked. People will know it.
