I got 21 this week mostly because of the Beatles round I knew most of those. They are one of my favorite bands despite them being before my time (I was born in 1984). I also knew the final picture was royal Albert hall not from being there but because I have seen it from concerts on TV.
23.5/50 for Kieran and Claire (taking half a point for Mr Blobby) Thoroughly enjoyable quiz as always. If the round was Pink Floyd instead of the Beatles I might have done better. Maybe Pink Floyd for a future round. 😊 Thanks Dale. Hope you had a great holiday.
38/50. I loved the Beatles round. Reminded me of my mom screaming her head off at John Lennon when we watched a hard days night. Really embarrassing when you're only 8 lol. Keep em coming Dale. Thanks for the memory.
As a 58 y/o American I usually manage to do okay, but Round 1 crushed me. Had I not known that I would do well in The Beatles round, I may have switched off feeling defeated. 😂

Only 39/50 for me this time. 7/10 on pictures, 9/10 on the Beatles, 10/15 on entertainment, 13/15 on GK. Got all the Bond films and four of the five stadiums (just said the London Stadium in place of Murrayfield). Judith Keppel left 'Eggheads' last year.

There is no such modern UK county as Yorkshire. Traditionally, Yorkshire was the largest county, but it has been divided into 4 parts for rather a long time. The correct answer is North Yorkshire.

That is what I was referring to. As far as the UK government i9s concerned, there is no such county as Yorkshire. Isn't that definition enough? If the question had been about "Historical counties", I'd have had no objection whatsoever. OTOH, many people participate in these quizzes to try to learn stuff, and being given an equivocal answer does absolutely nobody any good.
@davidcolin6519 Quite, I almost put Cumbria for that very reason, hadn't appreciated North Yorkshire is so big, ironically I moved to West Yorkshire 20 years ago from London lol 😀
