GuitarZero2Hero hi sir i like your tutorial ..i learned more songs in your tutorial.. can i request a song titled by thank you for loving me by bonjovi ..tnx n advance sir..godbless
I played the guitar from I was young at around 15 years ago. Sadly, I have to let go of playing because I had to focus on college and work... Now, I'm slowly going back to practicing and I just had to say, Thank you so much! You just don't know how much it means to me. You have the most detailed and understandable tutorials out there. Keep doing what you're doing. I appreciate you.
Finally someone who actually has the Tabs it’s always frustrating when I just want to know the chords but you have to just listen to them talk and I don’t know the names of the chords
Your song tutorials are by far the best I've found on TH-cam. I've been learning guitar for about 5 months now and thanks to your free E-Book and videos, I have been improving way faster than I imagined I would be, having started at 30 years old. I appreciate what you're doing!
@@basicallyb3904 For chords like that you gotta make it so only your fingertips touch the fretboard, I briefly had that problem when learning the C chord. Just copy Dave's exact fingering positions if you're still struggling and best of luck.
@@Kurtis11266 that does help thanks I think my fingers are weak however, I can’t seem to have all my finger tips touch the chords all at once if that makes sense but I’ll figure it out
i thought this was such a hard song to learn... mostly because of the chords that i wasn't familiar with but your tutorial is amazing! I'm getting the hang of it! Thank you very much, i love music and being able to play the music that i love is just the best thing in the world !
Dave, thank you! You are BY FAR the best guitar tutor online. You think of every chart and display that a player would need. I also love your choice of songs that you're teaching, as I'm interested in learning many of them and adding them to my repertoire, so a huge thank you. Instant subscribe and like. Thank you for making such high quality videos.
Thanks Dave. Just an FYI there is no timestamp for the play through at the end. Love your tutorials and I appreciate all of the work that goes into each upload. I don’t see this channel being talked about enough in the online guitar community.
Yes, best one yet. Just picking up the instrument 20 years later and your tutorials are a great combo of modern day video and the TABs of my generation......don't change a thing!
Am I crazy or what? In tabs Em9 is marked x9799x and clearly you play 2 frets down as x7577x. Whats with that? By the way ... best gutar videos online. Huge fan
Mean video bro thanks for all the content you provide, I think in the guitar tab there is a mistake with the Em9 chord. It's just off by a full step is all, anyway great video my dude keep up the good work!
Been playing for quite a few yrs now...and there's always these songs that makes you curse having short fingers ): But hey this is one of the best tutorials I've seen of this song, I'm gonna try this.
Incredible tutorial man. I really struggled with chord shapes not in the common position but they're starting to get easier and my dexterity has really improved. Thank you.
I sometimes come across a chord thats unfamiliar to me like that em9 ur complaining about. Sometimes u just have to trick ur mind by looking at it on a different way. Like those three fingers on that fret … just imagine thats a raised a chord (like the normal A chord on the 2nd fret but with that one finger higher. Then ur next focus is that index finger on that 5th fret. Anything that would make it easier for you. It works for me and i hope it works for you.
When you finally get it down it's like magic! What you couldn't do before, you now can. I guess we are programming our muscle memory using repetition. A certain amount of reps and your brain downloads the new ability! It just takes persistence
Beyond this piece of great work, having the tutorial for Pardon Me, on acoustic would be cool. For the original song, for some reason I don't recall all those weird chord shapes, but the acoustic version certainly went to full tilt on it. Obviously there was some hidden complexity to that song, I wasn't aware of. Another good song: Stellar. :)
I might have held an accoustic 2 times before in my entire life but when I studied this tab, I had a lot of quick success. I rreeaalllyyy like the way he instructs his lessons!! Thanks for the simpler breakdown!!!
Choice lesson. You did proud by breaking down this tune completely. Simple but definetly one cool six chord progression. Excellent how you showed it all. You deserve 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🙊🙉🙈💥🎸🎶🎵
Felicitaciones!!! El mejor tutorial que vi de ésta canción. Cuando ya me estaba rindiendo, encontré esta maravilla que hizo que volviera a aprender ésta canción. Muchas gracias.
Still the best tutorial vids on YT! Only recommendation would be to just have a screen with all the chords on the guitar neck side by side in order so we can pause on that while we’re diddling around after watching. Thanks as always man
I watched on my pc and screen shot all the chords and strumming patterns and lined them up side by side as a reference. It was a lot easier to learn this way.
Damn why they post lessons and really don't have an ear for music? You sir completed the loop in learning this song for me. Chord stum & muted transition. I'm 60 and finally after 9 years put it together to play. Beautiful stay save teacher.
Great tutorial! Well, so far I have about 6 hours into it and really struggling to transition into that Em9 smoothly getting those 3 fingers in place on the 7th fret without buzzing the strings. I'll get there. Maybe after another 6 hours, lol.
just found this - i looked at a bunch of videos but yours is the best - its excellent. Mainly cause u sang going through the chords. Bottom line - thanks
Great tutorial. I just realized that I'm really having a hard time learning the strumming pattern with all that "down down up down up etc". It's easier for me just to hear what it sounds like then try it.
Thank you for breaking this down so well. Finally a great lesson on the solo section. The play along part at the end is very helpful! Thanks again. Ciao!
GuitarZero2Hero it really is a great lesson on all sections. I have everything down, except the mutes. I constantly have buzzing of the high e and b strings or my pick sort of gets stuck in the strings and it slows me down getting to the next shape and hitting the bass note before the strum. The switch from Em to Em9 is the only difficult mute I have for some reason. I can do one mute down, it's just the up strum mute that is a disaster. Hope I'll get it with more practice. Thanks again!
I don't know if someone told me this was hard or if I saw it on a hard riffs video.. but anyways I had never tried it assuming it was difficult. Felt good to be able to pick up my acoustic, play along to this video and have it down in no time. Excellent tutorial
Interesting fact about the Em/A chord, every note you fret is the same note as the open string below it, so if your playing it well you should be able to double every note in the chord so it sounds that much bigger and its also closer to the original recording
I can make all the chords and get them ringing, just takes me a long time to transition. Been devoting practice time each day to these transitions with a slow metronome, but still little progress. Any tips or drills for transitions would be appreciated, have no trouble with any open chords or even barre chords, just that Em9 is kicking my ass.
Brilliant lesson! The only thing I do differently is play the pre chorus Cmaj7 in the 2nd position just like the verses. Only because I watched Einziger do it that way. This is the best video lesson for this song that I've come across. Cheers!
your playing was nice, but i sub'd as soon as i heard "G'day". just heard a song i used to try play and learnt by ear, and discovered i was a little off, but still, a difficult song of Incubus, Anna Molly. been great revisiting it. drive i learnt for a gig last week. lovely song
