As someone who collects dolls, but has never gotten into BJDs because of the cost and dedication, this is a really good price point I think. It looks really good and has good eyes and articulation.

You absolutely do NOT touch that beauty of a vintage shirt. If you feel like you can't wear it without fixing it, then stop wearing it. I know someone who takes shirts that can't be worn (for whatever reason, like ripping or sentimental reasons) and the owner can't bear to throw them away and has them sent to her so they can be made into a quilt for that person. I make stuffed animals out of them. There's still a LONG life left in that shirt, lovely.

That shirt is pure perfection as is.
The junk jacket is really a fun project. It's nice that people can just send a small trinket. No cost and the postage is very inexpensive especially this time of year. Something that I really miss though is the viewer mail. I'm sure you must still get enormous amounts especially with being on tiktok. I would love to see a monthly viewer mail opening those were so much fun especially the craft projects that you were sent by Young Ones. Even if you opened it on your own and selected a few special ones to show us would be great.

for your shirt dilemma, a third option: get fabric and close the holes up with the new fabric. like a patch :)
I think you've got to cut the sleeves off Bunny. If you sew it, the stitched area will be stronger than the surrounding fabric. The shirt is old, so the fabric around the stitched area will then tear. Plus, you have beautiful arms, so it's a win win!

I’m kinda late but! In case no one has mentioned yet- this little doll is a bit different from a BJD. Ball Jointed Doll is kind of a umbrella term that a lot of people use to describe dolls with a lot of articulation but BJD actually refers to the resin dolls that are strung and have ball joint sockets. This girl would be an MJD or Mechanical Jointed Doll, they have hinge type joints and sometimes, like with Smart Dolls, an internal skeleton.
I prefer BJDs myself but this one is a cutie!💖

Depends on the version. In the Japanese version she is named Sadako. In the American version she is named Samara.

TIP ON CLOTHING when you’re putting the shirts on dolls, raise the arms up to slide the hands in first and pull all the way on before putting the arms back down. It’s a lot easier and you won’t struggle so much getting the arms in, even when they do bend. Hope this finds you.❤❤❤❤❤❤
