I was going to ask for a video of the pond when it's full as well. Mr DP took a mess of a pond and made it HGTV perfect. We need to see the results of all the hard work.
We install overflow pipes the same way basically except we will only fill the sides up about 2/3 with dirt then we take a jumping jack compactor around the sides to help seal it up also Then repeat until we are up to grade
This Day you make the Pipe that the Pond not to pass over. Jerry is come and help you to the letzt level. Against a good video and i glad me on your next arena covered. Greeting out a white Austria. ❄️☃️🇦🇹
Has to be one of the best videos I have seen! On the power rake, only have used a rock hound, it would collect the rocks and debris and load them in the bucket of the skid steer!
Good video again that is good job on the pond it looks so good good my friend I thought The dozer was smoking too much to thanks for answering The question about The dozer keep up the hard work be safe
I really wish I had gotten into this kind of work when I was younger. I still think I can buy a small mid size tractor and do some work on the side around my area. You guys are fun to watch. My kind of people.
The pond turned out great. My son was telling me in Indiana topsoil is gold. The job he's on up there they are doing a lot of trenching and that they have to strip the topsoil and replace it when done. Narrow trenches but every bit matters.
You Guys did a Great job on the Dam. It wont take long to fill up. I knew Jerry was getting on the B. One thing about Us old timers is We dont fix it if its not broken...LOL I used to get on My Old Mans D-6C and he had a new John Deere 450 LGP.. Loved that old 6C.. So comforts are nice. You just cant beat old Iron...Great job again on pond. And great Video. Would be nice to see it full when it gets there. Only if you had time. Thanks for sharing....
I learned last year that I love to watch you work. There’s another outfit or two that I enjoy and maybe you would, too. There’s Fab Rats welding shop channel where he redoes 4wd vehicles and Matt’s Rescue where they do excellent work redoing 4wd vehicles out in Utah. They’re like you, good with video production.
@@DirtPerfect We have a small farm in the Lynnville, TN area. I have some ideas of ground work for ponds but I am not in a hurry to get started because we are busy with other stuff but would like to know how to contact ya'll for an estimate if you are interested in the work. We don't do Facebook. Do ya'll have an office number or email? Thanks!
@@DirtPerfect Just found that you are out of Indiana. I understand that would put you a long way from home. I enjoyed your pond video and will probably watch more of your content. Thanks for sharing.
if the connection is good and it is not leaking it does not matter so much how the pipe is positioned but you have less risk if you do it right the first time
You don't realize how lucky you are.. as kids, we love to play with our toys in the dirt... you've been able to keep doing that well into adult hood... oh the toys are much more expensive, (and larger) but your still playing with them in the dirt... (not just you.. Chris and many others do it too)... Keep up the vids... we're living vicariously through you guys...
July 2022. 90-plus degrees in Maine, where the TH-cam algorithm has popped up this dam project for my viewing pleasure. I am now a subscriber. Great video technique with a ton of angles. Fun narration, full of information. I can tell you love your crew and are having a good time doing what you're doing. Thanks! You're cool.
Loved running story pole at work I worked for a costume builder in Kirkwood mo he would buy up the old property and homes built back in the 1940 to 1980 tear them down and build a new 5 or 6 bedroom and 5 bathroom home The old guy he had tearing down those homes after removing the old home and basement Nick could cut that grade to when you put story pole to it it was right on spot he eye was more true than the story pole was he knew how to cut that basement out to a tee loved watching him cut grade it's amazing watching a guy who knows what he's doing on a piece of equipment
Had been so long I'd forgotten about this little pond project . The big damn project got so frequent and urgent it kind of overshadowed everything else , especially with the dozer problems .
Now thats a good looking pond. Them are the kind of jobs where a cat pulling a scraper really shine, but hey gotta run what you got. Very nice job sir i would give ya an A-plus on the deal.
That would never work in Vermont I do a lot of ponds and our climate is way to cold , the frost will pick the pipe up and run underneath, but probably all right where u live nice work mr dirt perfect watch all the time great videos
Hello and Happy Holidays. I think the easiest option for your float idea is have that incorporated in the electronic controls at the factory. By using a button you can have a faster easier option.
On the Ruckus Rake, is there a way to out the hydraulic cylinder on the tilt axis into float? ….or have a float valve installed in that line that stays with the tool?
@@DirtPerfect I think the manufacture can improve with just using a float vale on that cylinder. My question is does this skid steer have a float vale for the lift arms? I'm going to assume it does, jam the pedal all the way down to make the lift arms float and control depth with the tilt and off of the front wheels. Doing this makes the track or wheeled skid loaders float evenly over the ground giving you the most traction. Also try using when smoothing out in reverse , works great. If you like the tip give a shot out to (Scruffy)
please get a vid when the pond is full, that would be rewarding for us people that watch every one of your vids

Yes. Please do!
Boy, that’s going to look awesome when it fills up and the grass grows.
I'd love to see some before and after the pond fills up. I think it would be awesome if you could swing back by this pond and bring us up to date.
We install overflow pipes the same way basically except we will only fill the sides up about 2/3 with dirt then we take a jumping jack compactor around the sides to help seal it up also

NC gets a lot more rain usually then we do in the great white north. I believe they need the higher out flow of water from the over flows.

In my part of the country we pull permits with the corp for dams. Bell end doesn't matter direction as long as it is home
Yup
They make a land plane for skid steers. I wonder how that would work before the power rake was run.
Awesome job 👍
