You need to setup Ban Ard and Aretuza students in r1 to get to 4. Also, in 2nd game you spend way too much alumni in r1 and in r3 you should've used 1 Alumni to kill Knut. Edit: You dont need 2 runewords. Or Envoy. Or Runemage.Try to find place for Winch and/or Amphibous assault. And change the strategem to Crystal skull so 1 student is protected by defender on range, and 1 is protected by the strategem in melee.
I've managed to get a few wins with it now, much longer learning curve than I am used to however at least half the decks I run into do nothing BUT remove my units and I feel like learning to deal with those is going to take forever
@@CombatPanda007 What I do and I'm still trying is I try to play 2 atchitypes.. One with alumni and other with Ben Ard Tutor.. Or else if we just rely on the students, and they don't get high enough we're totally done for
I hate mages personally. I think it is typically more difficult than your typical deck, but when piloted correctly, they seem to be pretty good. Watch Dosen Casual Gamer pilot NR mages if you want a reference on how to pilot this deck
I went and checked a video of his using the meditating mages which was hilarious. No what I was trying to do but certainly helped. Thanks for the suggestion!
@@CombatPanda007 oh, BTW, you probably noticed, but Doesn's mage videos appear to both be somewhat of meme decks, so, the video can still be helpful, but idk if I'd copy the deck verbatim

@@CombatPanda007 no problem, glad it helped, though Dosen makes every deck look easy. Dude is a goat of gwent
