  • AWS Systems Manager offers a lot of tools and services to support and automate AWS EC2 resources as well as on-premise Virtual machines and bare metal. In this video, I will show you how you can use AWS SSM Sessions manager to remotely connect to private instances in your home lab without SSH keys. All you need is an AWS account and a Local machine you would like to connect to. All of this with no VPN or SSH is needed!!

    Hey Joe, Lets say one of the managed instance has guest vm installed on it. How do I access those vm from local powershell or terminal? If I want to see the list of VMs that are installed on that instance. Thank you

      I don’t think that would works? What nested virtualization platform are you using to nest vms?
      I think you could just install the Sam agent on the guest vm. Sam won’t manage all of the guest vms because they all would need the agent to add it to the inventory l.
