50:13 fun fact: penguinz0 did the assassination of yannik with a pistol, even tho the game wants you to use a sniper, it reads any bullet fired at them it seems and despite effective range will kill in 1 shot XD was very funny to see.
I got to give the game props so far. Missions 3, 4, 5 are all wildly different from each other in terms of structure and vibe and all 3 missions are like close to an hour or over an hour long - this campaign feels substantial and essential to the package and not just a glorified tutorial for the multiplayer. They had a lot of fun making this campaign.
I see so many people complain, mean while I have bo2 vibes. Loving the fast paced gameplay loving the maps. And don’t even get me started on the progression system and all the camo grind. So far this game is awesome. I hope they rerelease some old Zombie maps
There are secrets around the safe house, 2 missions in and i figured out the piano riddle and the boiler riddle in the basement, but I can't get the secret door open.
the fact that they have Lou diamond Philips in blackops 6 makes me smile he was one of my favorite 80's movie stars for the younger ones try checking out the movie Young Guns :)

I noticed the Shadows song playing in the gala mission. My first thought was "you mf are just reusing zombies songs and thought we wouldn't notice". Honestly I'm a big fan of the zombies song in campaign. When 115 started playing i went "ohhh, its game over for you, this shit is my jam!"

Thank f-ing christ you are actually playing the game, exploring and interacting with the characters, I had to stop watching MoistCritical playing it because he wouldnt stop complaining and whining about the campaign, and that it was slow, it may be its just not his "thing" but it was annoying, and grinding to listen to the vitriol coming out of his mouth, and I usually like his content, maybe he's always been this way, but it was almost criminal how he just went to the mission board to start the next mission, than complained nothing made any sense, despite the fact hes clearly not going out of his way to learn more about the story or the people in this world that the developers added to make it feel more alive.

Raven today is an FPS dev studio on par with Treyarch from 2008-2012 and IW from 2003-2009. Their work on Cold War and Black Ops 6 gets buried under all the discourse and conversation surrounding Activision, multiplayer, zombies and Warzone, but they’ve made some of the best traditional first person shooter campaigns of the last decade.
I love that Snake Skin Boots and Cold Hard Cadh (the main easter egg songs from the BO3 Zombies map Shadows of Evil) are included as music in the background when you first see Bill Clinton
This campaign starts off strong, but I’m interested in seeing TheActMans reaction to the Black Ops 3 esk material in the second half. The ending was also kinda anticlimactic sadly.
The radio in the basement of the safehouse uses different messages. Mine was "Husband returns and sits on couch. His wife's purse is still missing. The husband looked at the calender with his brother birthday on it. The calander is under the memorial flag." I dont know the exact phrasing.
The desert open world mission alone is better than the entirety of the open combat missions in MWIII. Also got major Halo Infinite campaign vibes from it
These missions actually feel like splinter cell. Which is a game I love, the rc operator is the same as in Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Very happy with the game
You know what the weird thing is? COD only has two major narratives, the OG Modern Warfare trilogy and the Black Ops universe (which is the longest). Everything else is just stand-alone installments. Unless if you count the first 3 games a trilogy, which I don't. And this year marks 17 years since I first started playing COD. Now I feel old.
im pretty good at video games so went with hardened but changed it 2 missions later went to regular because i wanted to do the OMNIMOVEMENT. also holy control vibes with emergence W level
I played the first few missions tbh its just like every other good cod campaign sadly id rather be playing zombies or multiplayer then the campaign in my free time allotted to video games so I'm thrilled to watch/listen to the actman when I'm doing things /driving places
I finished up the campaign recently on hardened difficultly. Honestly very soild campaign for modern cod. I'd give it an 8/10 overall. I got a good 7 hours out of it and definitely want to replay it when i get done with classes this semester. I've seen people do stuff that i did completely differently. That one mission in the labs was truly a stand out mission. I haven't had an experience in a fps mission like that since Effect and Cause in Titanfall 2. Only complaints about the campaign is enemy first shot accuracy is a little to high and the dialogue is absolutely atrocious. Man i feel like there were no memorable lines. But i go back to BO1 and I'm quoting everyone because their dialogue was so well written
