    I love the audio of your video like when you did the scene of opening the Panini press and you sped it up the sound went perfect with it.

    This is similar to my Bella panini press. I love mine. I make pesto
    mozzarella tomato cucumber sandwiches in it. Total yum.

    Why not grill what will become the inside first...and pre-heat ingredients so the are warmed when grilled?

    I just got this in the mail this morning. I still had Wal-Mart gift cards from Christmas so I thought the kids would enjoy having fun sandwiches. My husband has wanted one of these since we went to LA, CA on vacation 4 years ago. We are paninis at the beach. So far we have made frill cheese samdwhich and my son did a hot dog with cheese. Mine didn't come with a receipe book.

      I think you'll enjoy it. We break our out every couple of weeks and it's a real treat. Thanks for watching!

    I'm aware it's not needed but just wondering if this panini press is safe to use with parchment paper?

    • @DANDLINC
      @DANDLINC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thanks for watching my video. I've never used parchment paper and we've never had an issue. Maybe I should try some though...might be wonderful!

    Did you have to hold it down for the three minutes of cooking? I noticed the handle on the side is not to keep it pressing, but instead, it is for when you put it away. -Thanks for the answers.

    the lock knob on the right is used to lock down the sandwich for those who prefer a flattened sandwich and also to lock it an inch above the top of open faced sandwiches like bruschetta or even rewarming pizza slices

    How does it compare to the Tfal Grill?

    • @DANDLINC
      @DANDLINC  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Good Question. The T Fall is a 'smart' cooker with a bunch of brains to monitor your cooking for you. This is pretty much a dual surface heating element. I used it for a few months now...and honestly, we love it! Why buy a ferrari when you enjoy driving your Honda? Right? Thanks for watching.

    can we use it as a grill for meat and fish ?

    • @DANDLINC
      @DANDLINC  7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Good question but the answer is no. The panini maker needs to use already cooked meats. So it would be a 2 step process. Cook the meat and fish separately, then place them in the panini maker to 'panini-ize' them. When I first bought mine, I thought it would be a bit like a Foreman Grill...but it is not. On the bright side, the panini's are fantastic and we're very happy with the product! Thx for watching.

    I just unboxed one that Santa brought - makes great paninis so far. No need for oil or butter, dry works well and less gummy. But it shoots off little sparks when you unplug.
    Even if careful to pull with hand on plug, not yank the cord. Sparks.
    Is that safe?

    it doesn't get the middle of the sandwich at all... I have only used it twice with some pepperridge farms sourdough bread and the edges are perfect but the center barely gets touched...

      try cutting in half before placing it on the press. I've had good results doing that

    Bought mine two weeks ago and the screw on the right is already done for......the press will not open anymore. Feels like the cheap product which it actually is! Buying american is almost always a price related error......

    How long to coom steak on it

    • @DANDLINC
      @DANDLINC  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The steak must be PRE-cooked for this model. It's a Panini maker, not a grill. The panini's are delicious (crunchy, toasted bread) and the meats and cheeses come out piping hot, but they must be pre-cooked. Thx for watching!

    Piece-O-Shit. Spend a little more and get a cuisinart. That thing won't last a year and will just make crappy food.

    Look bud, if you're going to be making a video about a product at least know *something* about the product.
