Hello Henry! I want to say thank you so much for what you do. Just like so many, I had put on a few pounds over the past couple years and my health was not looking too good. A few months ago however, I decided to take a journey towards good health. I got a treadmill and started walking slowly and increased it gradually. A couple weeks into this journey I found your City Walks! It made such a significant difference in keeping me on track. I have lost over 30 pounds and I am feeling fantastic! I love Montana and have visited one to two times a year on Flyfishing adventures for the past 26 years. With that said, my favorite City Walks is anywhere in the northwest. Thank you so much again Henry. Keep doing what you are doing. You are doing an amazing job, and I’m sure that you are helping many people. Oh, and by the way, talking or no talking it’s all good with me! 👍🏼 👍🏼 🎣🎣
Whoooah! 30lbs is fantastic. Great work, Matt! And, thank you so much for your kind words. It's comments like this that make my day. I love it when these walks make a positive difference to people. All the best and keep on steppin' -H
Just the walk that I needed today. The pine and spruce trees, the dirt path, the open air, the mountains in the background, and the finale of the dude ranch and creek. Thank you so much.
This was always my most favorite hike, when I lived there over 20 yrs. ago.Ranch is being restored by volunteers,so glad to see this historical place in history preserved.Very wild country lots of grizzlies & wolves! Thank you enjoyed the video!
What a totally incredible place, now this would be fun to explore, thanks for taking us along 😀 I really need to get out to Montana someday, i see and hear a lot of amazing things about it.
Thanks for commenting.. interestingly, I spent a great four months working at Brauner PSychiatric, RIDGEVIEW INSTITUTE ( SMYRNA) in 1982: and BRAVES GAMES ( Fulton County Stadium, & Pete Rose etc) and a TON OF ATLANTA ,& later on… Anyways, We liked Atlanta & the areas…..we relocated from WARSAW INDIANA ETC
Looks like a beautiful trail to hike, with beautiful scenery, perfect weather conditions, and great Infos about the trail, thank you very much! Have a wonderful day, Mario
If this is considered to be in your backyard, (if like where I live within a two hour drive) I can understand why you live where you do. Absolutely gorgeous and thank you for keeping me motivated on my treadmill.
It is absolutely in "my backyard". About 40 minutes away. Glad you are motivated. I get motivated by great comments like this. Thanks. Keep on steppin' -H
Check out our website at citywalksvirtualtours.com We're adding our video of libraries one per day and we'll be adding walks from other select channels soon as well.
Hi Miz, I was a little worried too. They can sure hide in that kind of sagebrush landscape. We'd just walked up the trail with dogs though and I had my bear spray so I was confident it would be ok. Thanks for watching and commenting. -H
Hi Henry, I am the guy who had the house in Bear Canyon east of Bozeman for 50 years. See my comment on the Chico video. Will you be doing a Bear Canyon trail video soon?
Hi Francis, the Bear Canyon walk will be up Monday morning. It was a bit snowy and I'm not sure I caught your old house, but let me know. All the best -H
@@CityWalks Hi Henry, Thanks for the heads up. Just watched it and it was great! My house is the one at 3586 that also has the sign for Bear Creek trailhead house. My house is the one to the right of the driveway with my art studio even closer to the creek. It’s the concrete building with the round window. By the way, where are you turned around is where they rerouted the trail to the left because of a rock slide across the trail the old trail to the right. And yes you should’ve brought your bear spray because it’s called Bear Canyon! Thanks again, Fran Noel

@Jake S interesting Jake. I’ve seen them several times but luckily usually from a distance. But, it really only takes once. Thanks for watching. -H
Do you carry bear spray on this hike? Thank you. It’s absolutely stunning!
Yes, absolutely. Not much chance that you will need it but it’s nice to have if you do.
