The reason they stand and talk is because revealing your technique can make it stronger, As Nanami mentioned last episode. Mahito gets a boost in power by explaining it, but Nanami also gets info that could let him make a new strategy that could beat Mahito. Both sides have something to gain by letting the conversation occur instead of just continuing the fight.
Oh yeah... That weird thing where they legitimize exposition... 😆 I'm kidding. Like I said in the reaction, I'm okay with it. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@TheGenreVerse I think JJK does a lot of this, but honestly it's just because the writer is a massive long term fan of manga and anime. He knows all the cliches and he knows everything the readers expect, and he either finds some way to subvert expectation or make it fit into the power system in a way that makes sense. Usually I'm annoyed by what can feel like a retcon to 'legitimise exposition' but, in this case? It completely fits the power system for there to be that kind of thing, giving away info in real world conflicts is often done to either misguide the opposition or otherwise, and so it's cool that they both include those real world factors, on top of a stat boost that lets you know when they're taking the fight a little more seriously
Greif is a very strange emotion because theoretically any early lose of human life is tragic but a dog or a pet loss will hit a 100% harder then seeing a car crash death of some stranger but I guess its up to a person because like a recent example akira toriama wail alot of people were seemingly super upset about it but me I was just thought danm that sucks but didnt really bother me id say the only "celebrity" death I was a bit sad about was the 3 time classic Tetris world champion only because I was getting really into the tetris community at the time. Just though id put my thoughts on to the conversation.
I believe it has to do with our closeness to the person, sure empathy is not something that needs to be thought but it can also be learned, there are levels and steps to how we process feelings such as loss or grief, no person or animal or otherwise has intrinsic value, all value is derived from how we process the world
Honestly its interesting, i hate Mahito just like I'm sure You'll come to as well, not narratively of course he a great villain but just personally but despite that he and I do actually have similar philosophies like there needing to be no emotion consistency in our lives, i suppose the biggest difference would be that Mahito lacks empathy due to the way his power allows him to literally control others I also find it interesting that you took a lot more time to explain Junpeis view of life compared to Mahitos one, but i suppose there is something intrinsically wrong feeling about saying "murder when you're angry"
Great video 😉 I’ll just ask one question just for fun not serious. 1. What could be the todo’s grade (what type of women you like guy) just guess what rank he could be ?
@@TheGenreVerse that why I said guess I know that you doesn’t know that yet we’ll get to see that later so that’s why I just asked it for fun but if you do want to know the answer and it is not a spoiler then scroll He is grade 1, todo is actually grade 1 equal to nanami

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. That's always welcomed and encouraged.

Sorcerer grade? Maybe he's equivalent to a 2? I'm not sure I could probably judge that yet. Still learning.
