I get ask often, how much people should tip servers in Mexico? the norm is 10% but I will encourage you to tip a little more at least 15% as their base salaries are extremely low across the country.

I have no idea how these luxury resorts make their money. They seemed to be deserted in every video I watch.
I think exclusivity and privacy play a big role in having a luxurious experience. Also, something else to keep in mind is that we normally film when there are fewer people, as I don't want to film anyone for privacy purposes. Their rates are 5-10 times higher so I’m sure they have enough revenue.
