And I hope you enjoy your set too, it's a good feeling to get back on it 😁👍 It's not nice to have to give up something you love for whatever reason. For me it was work commitments and a hectic life in general. I have realised since doing this set just how much I have missed mixing though. I had a lot of fun recording this, it's a buzz you only get from mixing. The love I get from people means a lot too. In all honestly I still find it strange people like my mixes 😂
@@DJMASE Right, same here, about people liking my mixes. I had a rush just using some digital programs to practice. I can only imagine the rush and energy I'll feel from grabbing real knobs and sliders. I use some really old legacy equipment. The 808/909 setup is from the '80s. My original T1200s are from 1978. I think I still have a set of Pioneers from 1976. Even my newest CDJs are all from around 2008-10.
@@Tomsm8 Unfortunately, that really did happen. I was DJing and had a seizure. I ended up having a T.I.A. type stroke which gave me an aneurysm in my brain. I am still partially deaf.
